    I booked my reservation on September 16, 2024, for November 19, 2024. Travelled to Rome to find out at the reception that the Ristorante is under construction until December, they said they sent emails about the cancellation but I never received anything, in fact the day of the reservation I received an email to confirm our reservation for 2:00pm. 😂 Since 2021 I’ve been trying to have dinner at this restaurant every year, is not meant to be I guess.

    I booked the reservation, mainly for the excitement of the view. The morning of the reservation, I received a text message that the meal would be inside on the ground floor of the hotel. This was not what I had expected and by that point it was too late to cancel due to the restaurants policy. Thankfully, the meal was delicious, the service was wonderful, and we were able to have dessert on the rooftop. If you were booking because of the view, you might want to reconsider.

    The service was spectacular. If you aren’t afraid of food you have never tried before than this is the place. We did the Chefs choice dinner for €115 and it’s was incredible. Each dish was something I have never tasted before. Our servers gave great insight on wines making the selection perfect every time. For desert you go up to the rooftop and have a beautiful view of Rome at night. Could not recommend more! All in all our bill came out to around €360 for two people for a special occasion I will always remember Oro Bistrot.

    I thought the rooftop area was beautiful and very elegant. I did think the pricing was a little bit steep for what you received, but the overall experience was beautiful.

    Amazing dining experience, with delicious food, amazing staff, and to top it off, the dessert on the rooftop with the glorious view of ancient Rome made it a memorable night for my partner and I.
