Huntington’s Osteria da Nino is the rustic, yet elegant eatery that dishes out scrumptious Italian cuisine with contemporary flair. Owner Nino Antuzzi opened its doors right on Main Street for locals and travelers to enjoy freshly prepared fare. For starters, the baked artichokes topped with herb bread crumbs and the polenta con funghi with warm gorgonzola make divine choices. Osteria da Nino house specialties include the pollo alla romana, an organic half chicken with sausage and baby potatoes, the pan-seared branzino with roasted cauliflower and the Tuscan steak with salmoriglio drizzle. Fresh made pasta with gluten-free substitutions are popular dishes. Osteria da Nino was featured in The New York Times and Newsday. It serves a decadent weekend brunch with a variety of tasty dishes. We loved the atmosphere, service and food. But I was very disappointed in my Mojito, not great taste and I was disappointed in the portion size of the appetizers. I loved the appetizers, but very small portions. Those are my only complaints.

Eggplant "tapenade" with fresh bread as we sat down was amazing! Baby octopus so fresh and delicious. Both Shrimp entrees perfect and of course the spinach ravioli out of this world!! Desserts devoured in seconds; flourless chocolate cake and trio of gelato. Best dinner ever for ALL four of us😋

Great authentic Italian food served by friendly staff and truly good value. The owner (Nino?) is from Sardinia. We tried two starters and three pasta dishes. Everything was delicious and authentic. Parmigiana a fave but cavatelli pasta (handmade was a real nugget!). Well done!

Food was Delish!!! It has been a really long time since I dined here. I found the food and drink to be of really good quality and I enjoyed my dining experience. It wasn't as pretty and high end in appearance as I remembered it being but I would still return for the fabulous food.

I had the rice ball appetizer and cacio e Pepe entree. Both were under seasoned. My husband had the salmon. It had too much balsamic on the vegetables and it overpowered the entire dish.
