   We'd eaten at Restaurante MV the weekend before. Osteria Morini restaurant is not as pretty as Restaurante MV, but the overall quality of the food and service for us outweighed the ambiance. Between the two restaurants we preferred the cost and the quality of the food here, although it was slightly higher than a restaurant in Chester and in Lebanon we enjoy. We shared an app, a salad, each ordered an entrée and shared a dessert. We started with the Melanzana (fried eggplant balls) pomodoro, ($15.00) which was delicious and an appetizer we'd never had before. We moved onto the Romana salad which is essentially a Caesar with baked capers, adding a crunchy twist. ($16.00) From here we ordered a chicken parm. (huge portion) with the option of either garlic spinach or pasta. (no extra charge for pasta like Restaurante MV) which was cooked perfectly. ($32.00) We also ordered the short rib special. ($32.00) The portion was small, but the dish was rich with a amazing deep beefy flavor, making the size of the dish was adequate. (Nothing to take home here) For dessert we shared the donuts with toppings and ice cream. I am normally not a donut fan, but these were well worth getting, accompanied by an expresso and cappuccino. The only downside I would say was the restaurant and ladies room were so cold to the point where I ordered hot tea before dinner, instead of a bottle of wine. I didn't want anything cold which was a loss to the restaurant. We would definitely recommend Osteria Morini for a dinner out and will be back again.

   I’d never eaten here before. I chose this Restauraunt after using the “Between” app to find a location between the three couples meeting —- but boy am I glad I did! The service was outstanding and the food delicious. Note when visiting that the Restauraunt sign is dark so you could miss it. Use a navigation to find it. I’ll definitely go back again

   We were 7 adults and 2 babies for a Sunday brunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was delicious and the wait staff/ management were very attentive. We will be back.

   The food is great. This time I had the chopped salad the focaccia appetizer and both were delicious. We sat at the bar and the bartender made a cosmo which I loved. This is one of my favorite local places to go… you will not be disappointed. The only negative is the drinks are expensive.

   We love this restaurant! As usual the food was delicious; we started off with the muscles and we recommend asking for extra bread to lap up the sauce. Then my husband had the tagliatelle and I have the ravioli. We recommend both. We saved room for dessert and had the fruit cobbler with vanilla gelato. Yum. A special shout out to our waitress, Sarah who was attentive but didn’t hover. The whole staff was a pleasure. The only negative was the very low lighting which made it difficult to see the menu.

   The only thing bad about this restaurant is the number of people who have found out that it’s truly one of New Jersey’s best Italian restaurants bar none. If you were looking to find your standard run of the mill eggplant and veal Parm side of overcooked penne pasta this isn’t the place for you. Here they specialize in actual house made pasta, not like most places that claim to have it and really just buy it from an outside purveyor, along with a compliment of entrées that One would truly find in a small European family run Trattoria. The menu is small because everything is guaranteed to be fresh and expertly prepared from a simple roast half chicken to grilled New York strip. This is the kind of place that you go after you’ve gone to all the other so-called best Italian restaurants in New York and New Jersey to realize what they were actually shooting for but missed.

   Great restaurant. Service and food were exceptional! Handmade pasta made great in house every day and you can taste the difference. Focaccia bread appetizer was wonderful. Crispy potatoes for the side dish cannot and should not be missed. And finally the bombolonis and tiramisu for dessert is a perfect way to end the meal!!

    Food was fantastic. The "ambiance" was non existent. Our server was wonderful. For a high end priced eatery, it sorely lacks the "feel" of one.
