Imagine a charming Tuscan Osteria nestled in the heart of Providence, specially transformed for nine days to celebrate the Splendor of Florence festival. Overseen by renowned local chef Armando Bisceglia, the Osteria is brought to life with the flavors and traditions of Tuscany. The event is elevated by the presence of visiting Chef Federico Minucci and owner Stefano Di Puccio, both from the celebrated Florence restaurant, 4 Leoni. This pop-up features an authentic Tuscan menu inspired by the osteria-style ambiance of Florence itself.

Each night offers a carefully curated menu with a blend of classic and creative Tuscan dishes. Wine selections are paired to perfection and designed to complement each dish. In addition a special wine window will be featured.

Chef Bisceglia and Chef Minucci will interact with diners, sharing stories and insights from the heart of Italy, making this nine-day celebration an unforgettable cultural and gastronomic experience.

    Osteria Toscana was a nice and unique experience that I hope people are able to try, the next time this pop-up comes around. I liked the food and ambience. But you can tell some kinks were still being worked out because it’s a pop-up and not an established restaurant. I still enjoyed the experience.

    It took 15 minutes for someone to even say hi to us, let alone seat us. They then put us at a table with water poured and bread already out; looked like someone had abandoned the table. When they reserved the bread it was insanely dry and hard. We waited 10 minutes for someone to take our order for food and drinks and when no one came by we left

    AMAZING experience! So glad that this was brought to Providence. The food was delicious. The chef was friendly. Make a reservation while you can.

    Excellent evening tonight celebrating The Splendor of Florence at Osteria Toscana hosted by Armando Bisceglia and two visiting chefs from Italy. The pop up venue was warm and inviting and proved to be a perfect backdrop for the delectable food that is being offered during this special event. We began with pasta and bean soup that was a throwback to having a warm, comforting bowl of soup as a child in an Italian household. Then I selected the fettuccine bolognese-which is the Best I have ever had. I simply did not want to finish the dish because side I was enjoying each forkful so much. Richard had the gnocchi-each one was a pillow of tenderness nestled in a truffle cream sauce that melted in your mouth. Our entrees of eggplant parmigiana and osso bucco were hearty and delicious and proved to be two perfect rustic Tuscan selections. At the end of this epic meal we had cookies with a dessert wine. Everything tied together seamlessly and we truly had The Splendor of Florence experience💖. Let’s not forget the Wine Window-such an authentic touch! We loved getting our wine and toasting to this fantastic evening.

    Really low quality food and high end prices. $235 for two people including an overpriced $60 bottle of Chianti. Antipasto was a mass of low quality meat and cheese. Pasta had No. Flavor. Eggplant was a mushy blob. Same price would buy a great meal at Oberlin/Persimmon/Al Forno. Total bust.
