“OSTERIA VERA” the new true Italian dining experience.

Giorgio Pierangeli, Owner and Founder of Pecorino Restaurant, has partnered with Celebrity Chef Nicola Mastronardi to bring an authentic Italian Osteria dining experience to one of the oldest and most iconic buildings in Brentwood. Osteria Vera offers a cozy yet upscale setting. The menu is a testament to Italian culinary excellence, featuring homemade pasta, regional specialties, grilled or roasted meats, pizza, and fish.
Both Giorgio Pierangeli and Nicola Mastronardi are graduates of culinary schools in Italy and have honed their skills in some of the finest establishments across Italy, Europe, and the USA. Over the years, they have catered to many distinguished list of celebrity clients. They have now just teamed up to bring L.A. Osteria Vera!

Amazing as always! Love this place. Great food, incredible atmosphere. I love it because it doesn’t try to do too much. It gives off a neighborhood Italian restaurant vibe, with locals all piling into their favorite spot for a quick dinner. The crowd is organic, staff amazing, and food incredible. Menu staples are great but they always have diverse, delicious specials as well.

Everything was just perfect starting from the excellent cuisine from chef Nicola to the warm welcome from the staff who sat us right away to the attentive service through out the entire dinner and a cozy ambience . We started with a tuna carpaccio and a delicious octopus with fava beans and asparagus accompanied of an excellent crunchy focaccia and spicy garbanzo dip . The lattuga salad will make any Caesar salad turn green of envy then for entrees our table shared huge tubes ( paccheri ) in a crazy delicious tomato sauce with lobster and shrimp ( this one is a must !) , one of the best steaks we have had in town , a very generous dover sole cooked to perfection and some very tasty lamb chops … we skipped dessert . I give them an A+!! Congrats to this new addition to Brentwood ! This place has to be one of the best Italian hangout in town !! Wishing them much success !

Another fine meal at this establishment. Good, solid dishes. Menu is a bit limited, with only 4 options for secondi plus two specials for total of 6 entrees to choose from. The portion size could be slightly larger for the pastas considering they are priced a bit higher than other fine Italian dining venues in the area. They didn't prepare the Cacio a Pepe tableside as they did before. It was delicious and probably the highlight dish of the night. Would definitely recommend for solid Italian dining, but not quite on level with some of the top Italian dining spots (Angelini Osteria, et al.) .
