Situated in Boston's vibrant Back Bay neighborhood, One Charles Street South is home to a modern Mediterranean eatery known as Ostra. Led by Chef/Owner Jamie Mammano and Executive Chef Mitchell Randall, our restaurant draws inspiration from the abundant seafood offerings of both local New England waters and the coastal regions of Europe. With a strong emphasis on specialty seafood sourced from the Mediterranean and various parts of the United States, our culinary creations showcase the natural essence and delightful flavors of each dish through their light preparation.

We absolutely love this restaurant. We love to celebrate special occasions there. The service is impeccable. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. Would highly recommend.

As other reviewers have posted, Ostra is very good food, very good service, and very very expensive. Not convinced it was worth all that, but it is certainly fine dining and a place to go to celebrate any event.

Food and service were excellent. But OpenTable’s indication of pricing is ludicrous; entrees are nearly all $45-70 per person.

All of the food was AMAZING! We had the octopus, sea bass tartare, and both pasta dishes (crab and lobster). Everything was so good. Can’t wait to come back
