OUT OF BOUNDS is thrilled to announce our entry to the local restaurant community. Uniquely located on the spectacular grounds of Cattail Crossing our stand-alone facility has two gorgeous south facing patios to enjoy the sunset while overlooking a stunning lakeside view.
Celebrating our regional heritage, our innovative menus will feature classic Canadian fare with a modern twist using where available sustainable, locally sourced products from small farms, growers and producers, always freshly made in-house. The Chef driven kitchen will produce, small plates, comfort food representing the international flavors of Canada today.
We will be THE neighborhood restaurant and bar where people want to drop in , celebrate, – a place where people gather for food , conversation, friends, family and fun.

Get ready to embark on a culinary journey like no other! The fourth stop on our Passport to Global Flavours is a French-Asian Soirée, where Chef Chris Koo—trained in both cuisine and pastry at Le Cordon Bleu—blends classic French techniques with vibrant Asian flavours for a 4-course feast that reimagines tradition with a creative twist. As both a chef and a family doctor, Chris believes that good food is the foundation of good health—wholesome, flavour-packed, and never boring. He even teaches a medical student elective on Culinary Medicine and has led public cooking classes to help people learn how to feed themselves well. Inspired by this philosophy, he has crafted a menu that brings together the best of both worlds, from crispy deep-fried nori parcels and duck à l’orange potstickers to Hainan-style chicken with three signature sauces, all leading up to a decadent bubble tea choux au craquelin—because for Chris, dessert is never an afterthought. If he looks familiar, you might recognize him from Season 3 of The Great Canadian Baking Show! Now, he’s bringing his passion for food, technique, and innovation to Out of Bounds for a night of unforgettable flavours. Everything was amazing!! From service to food!! Kenzie served us and she was by far one of the most attentive waitress I have had. She went above and beyond, listening to our requests. She never rushed us and she always had a genuine smile on her face!! Everyone else there was friendly and helpful too. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Beautiful and tasty brunch with a view. What more could you ask for! It was busy, as they have an outdoor event going on but our server Pat, brought everything out nice and hot and lots of coffee refills. All my friends love the food here and they all have their favorite dishes. We truly felt pampered.

What a spectacular dining experience we enjoyed at this restaurant. The evening checked all the boxes on great food, service and ambiance. Our server Pat, was on point with recommendations and our meals were served promptly. Compliments to the chef and cooks for a great tasting meal. We noticed a very hard working lad, setting up lights, etc on the porch, for additional viewing pleasure We will most definitely return!

This was our first time going to Out of Bounds. My husband and I met our friends for Sunday brunch. We all agreed, we will definitely come again. Food was excellent, service was excellent. It was a quiet, cold morning in February, so not busy while we were there. It may be busier come golf season, so the noise level could vary for sure. Definitely recommended.

We went for Valentine’s Day. They made us tip twice, about $50 on a $240 bill because it was automatic 25% which is crazy considering I got the wine pairings with every course and had to continually ask for my next pairing. The arancini was good, salad was salad, the duck was SO DRY and overcooked. I LOVE duck and that was the WORST duck I have ever had in my entire life. It was like leather. The risotto with the short rib was undercooked, it should have been reduced more, it still had a crunch in the middle like it wasn’t fully cooked. The short rib was fine, the lemon cake was dry. Definitely not worth the price of the meal. Will not be going back sadly.

It was a lovely Valentine's evening celebration with friends. We were originally seated waayyy tooo close to the live music, but they were able to move us to a quieter table after we requested it. As a set menu, the food was very good and well prepared. We appreciated the different entrees - halibut, short ribs and duck. The two dessert choices - brownie and lemon cake were also very good.
