The crown jewel of the hotel, our rooftop restaurant Overlea (meaning, “over the meadows”), is a stunning open concept space with horseshoe bar, floor to ceiling windows, and breathtaking views of historic Newmarket. The menu is a celebration of seasonal simplicity created by Chef Jon Turner. With terraces on each side complete with greenery, lounge furniture and fire tables, Overlea is the perfect place for a quiet escape into an evening of the unknown. Open evenings + weekends for brunch service.

                                                Went here for our first time and it was great! Service was good, view was very nice, and the food was great. Definitely our new “go to” spot for family and friends. Will be coming back!

                                                Super attentive service and good food. A lovely venue. Brussel sprouts with my meal were tasty but there didn't need to be that many of them.

                                                I grew up in Newmarket and this might be the best meal I have ever had in town. I enjoyed the Lobster Bisque to start with the Pistachio Crusted Lamb as my main and both were delicious. The food is aggressively seasoned and didn’t lack in any flavour as far as I am concerned. The hotel and restaurant space are beautiful. It’s nice to see someone took the time to renovate a historic building and give it new life. The Overlea is 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back!

                                                2 hour, 15 minute wait for mains. 1 hour wait fir soup and salads. Kitchen obviously overwhelmed. Do not eat here. $59 lamb in Newmarket that takes over 2 hours to arrive? No thanks.

                                                We had a wonderful evening. There were eight of us and we were all pleased with our food. The service was exceptional and the server was very respectful of giving us time to enjoy our evening. When we walked into the hotel one of the staff walked us to the elevator to make sure we knew our way to the restaurant. Great service, food and ambience. I will go back.

                                                Beautiful venue with an exceptional view. Food was excellent. Halibut was very good. Try the brussel sprouts because they were delicious. Service was also very good.
