The crown jewel of the hotel, our rooftop restaurant Overlea (meaning, “over the meadows”), is a stunning open concept space with horseshoe bar, floor to ceiling windows, and breathtaking views of historic Newmarket. The menu is a celebration of seasonal simplicity created by Chef Jon Turner. With terraces on each side complete with greenery, lounge furniture and fire tables, Overlea is the perfect place for a quiet escape into an evening of the unknown. Open evenings + weekends for brunch service.

                                                Our first time here; celebrating our anniversary. The service and food was outstanding however the noise level was such that it was difficult to have a simple conversation. The restaurant desperately needs some sound baffles to help the situation. And it only got worse when the music volume increased.

                                                Ambiance is beautiful. Service was okay, Minimal options for vegetarians and no offer of accommodations when one of two vegetarian options were out of stock. Drink was taken away prior to being finished (not much left but could have asked first.) All hosts were very friendly. Would be back for for drinks and ambiance.

                                                Very nice with great food. Menu selection was somewhat limited and a bit of challenge with someone allergic to shellfish and garlic.

                                                Food is excellent. The busier the restaurant gets the louder it gets, needs better acoustics. Our server was great for most of our visit and then it was hard to even get her attention, mostly because it got busy. More staff required maybe.

                                                It has the vibe and elegance of top downtown restaurant. Such a beautiful setting for any occasion. Perfect portion size even for big eaters!

                                                Another amazing dining experience at the Overlea restaurant. We enjoyed the beet salad and oysters to start. Delicious! We each ordered a different main including cornish hen, lamb, steak and duck. We all loved our entrees and enjoyed sharing each others. The hen and mashed potatoes were a favourite. The service was fantastic! Our server was very attentive but also relaxed and conversational. We can't wait to come back for our next celebration!

                                                We enjoyed our dinner very much at the overlea. The only thing i suggest is to have french fries on your menu. Being told they are only available in the lobby bar was extremely disappointing. The waiter said sometimes when children are there they will go downstairs and get them. Everyone likes french fries. Please put them on both menus. Such a small thing could make a big difference
