   Loved our food and waiter. It was peak dining hour and so pretty noisy. We definitely will come back for the food!

   The free first round of chips and salsa were the star for me unfortunately. Service was slow, we had to wait to order for a long time, waited to receive our food even longer, and were not served our cocktails until we were basically done with our food. At least they were yummy. I know this is a popular spot that’s almost always at full capacity but that means you need to hire staff to support the amount of customers you serve. Portions were small and the food was unfortunately lackluster. I enjoyed the tuna ceviche appetizer the most and liked the addition of the pecans, but again I wish the portion was larger for something that cost the same as an entree.

   We sat outside and the service was a bit slow. Had to flag server for water and to order dessert, etc. Food was delicious. The bathrooms however could use some cleaning.

    We love Oyamel. The food is amazing. The service was pretty slow but we didn’t mind because we enjoyed the time. It was at least 45 min after our reservation before we were seated and asked for drink orders. It was also loud but a fun environment.
