Painters Hall is a classy and intimate bistro featuring modern Canadian cuisine. The restaurant decor is outfitted in a rustic chic style that complements the specialized menus and approachable wine list. Painters Hall is available for hosting events, with a staff that works together to ensure your celebration is special. Painters Hall has a bountiful menu of exotic foods to tickle your palate. One of the favorite starters is an oxtail ragout with stuffed tomato, scallions and parsnip puree. For the main course, you can choose from a duck confit with pancetta cassoulet and sprouts, bacon wrapped pork loin with potato gratin and a vegan stuffed pepper duo with a rice pilaf and mushroom couscous. The establishment also offers a bar menu with mussels, oysters and vegetable dishes.

                                            Wasn't impressed unfortunately. For the price I would expect better food and service. A $10 slice of cake for dessert was still frozen in the middle. My pasta was bland and we waited 1hr for our mains after our appetizer, we were at the restaurant for 2.5 hrs. Something happened to our order, after half an hour of being done our appetizer the waitress came back and asked my husband what he ordered again....... hmmm we should have left at that point. As It was downhill from there. The charcuterie board was great; but how do mess that up really. Atmosphere wasn't the best, kinda run down and the lighting was off (too bright). I'm really not that picky, we've been to amazing restaurants and then some not so great restaurants but they each still had value. I wouldn't have been happy with this meal if it were even half the price!!!! Honestly. Service was slow and awkward. Maybe because we were squished in the corner and the waitress couldn't access us properly.. Won't be back. I'd rather go to Milestones for a $200 dining experience. What does that say...

                                            Erin and her staff continue to raise the bar on quality and service. I have never had a meal I've regretted. Love Painter's Hall!
