I've eaten here plenty of times before and have always had a good meal. This time my medium steak was well done, the outside of it was burnt and the frites weren't the typical frites that I've had before. We had to flag down service quite a bit to get started, to order, to ask where my peppercorn sauce was and to get the bill. Definitely not value for money and I most likely won't be returning as it seems to have gone down hill.

Delicious food but waited 35 minutes before the first course was served, and everything thereafter was hurried so that I could make it to the theatre before the play started. I actually had to bring to the attention of the waitstaff that my food had not been served. I wonder how long it would have been if I had said nothing.

Great deal with 50% off food. Bit disappointed with the Toulouse Cassoulet. Poor quality sausage, too many beans and not well seasoned. The other meals in our party were good though.

Distinctly average. “A rack of lamb” made up of 3 chops sliced thin from what would be a normal lamb chop. Dauphinoise dry and mushy. Defent liver parfait.

Faultless food and drinks, accompanied by Denby’s perfectly cheerful yet professional service, which was prompt yet unrushed. There are so many pre theatre choices, and we’ll be back to this one for sure. Lovely touch to acknowledge Hubby’s birthday with a candle, song and card! Thank you.

My third visit and each time it’s been as good as the last. Amazing value for money, the food is exceptional and staff always so friendly and efficient. Excellent

Proper French food, extremely tasty and good value. Pre theatre menu especially good for the price. Attentive service from friendly staff. A lovely find in the heart of Covenant Garden
