Over the past few years, the tract of Montgomery County between Horsham and Blue Bell has become something of a hot spot for exciting new restaurants. Thanks to Habib Troudi, it’s about to get one more in the form of Panache Wood Fire Grill. Carved out of the building that had been home to L’Angolo Blue, an Italian restaurant that closed earlier this year, Panache is based on a “simple concept,” as Troudi says, offering thin-crust Neapolitan-style pizzas cooked in a wood-burning, coalfired oven, as well as prime steaks, seafood and other new American cuisine. Once complete, the space will have two bars, one of which will also house the massive 10,000-pound oven needed to crisp up those pizzas and cook other dishes in castiron skillets.

                        Big place and good atmosphere. First time I went the service was extremely slow. Gave them another try last night and the service was better but food was bland and over priced. I ordered a special and made the mistake of not asking the price. Turned out to be $45 for tasteless pasta, shrimp and sausage. If I go again, I’d just order pizza. That looked pretty good.

                        We have been here many times. This visit we had margaritas, mussel app, veal saltimbocca and the grouper special. Drinks, app, veal were great, grouper was bland in taste (very little to no seasoning). We were seated upstairs (never knew there was upstairs dining until this visit). 3 tables in total in the room. The server was working hard and very pleasant but she either had too many tables or the up and down the stairs was too much. We waited 30 minutes for drinks, had no chance to order a 2nd round and by the time she got back to ask how dinner was we were done eating. Live music was on main floor…no ability to hear/enjoy upstairs. Personally we will never sit upstairs again. By the way, Waitress apologized every visit for how long everything was taking and thanked us for our patience so they are fully aware that your experience will be different and in my opinion, worse

                        Everything was perfect. Food was delicious. Tuna tartare was so fresh! Pear martinis were excellent. Best of all was our waitress. A really nice evening!

                        Entree, grilled salmom with risotto was very dry,tough and difficult to chew. The risotto was also very dry. This is my favorite choice when dining at panache and have never been disappointed until now.

                        They had live entertainment which was nice but it was loud in there it was hard to hear each other over dinner. It’s hard to mess up chicken parm but there was something off with the taste of it. Martini tasted like straight up vodka and I couldn’t drink it. Overall it was an ok experience. I don’t think it was worth the price that we paid though. Not sure if we would go back.

                        The food is outstanding! From the complimentary Italian bread with a tomato dipping sauce to my veal saltimbocca, everything was top notch.

                        Food was good. But our server was obviously overworked. It was a bit chaotic and the noise level was horrible. Everyone had loud voices and it was very hard to have a conversation. .

                        My food was great but my husband’s dish was cold - not warm, but actually cold. We sent it back and it clearly was microwaved - one side was warm while the other side was still cold. The waitress wasn’t around for us to tell her again, so he had no choice but to eat the warm side. We told her about it and all she said was “oh no.” We were also left with no water for long periods of time and it took forever to get a glass of wine. We wanted to see the dessert tray but it took way too long so we gave up. The waitress was very nice but this was not one of our better experiences overall.
