Overall, Parottfish is a beautiful restaurant, with an open kitchen and additionally, a lovely garden area. I had two negatives….could have done without the big screen TV’s with sport (does not really fit the elegant interior) and the music was quite loud. That said, our server, Frida, was lovely. We had the duck tacos and serrantino roll, and both were delicious. There were several other dishes we would have tried….the menu is varied but more on the sushi, sashimi side. It was a birthday celebration, and we were treated to tempura Oreos with vanilla ice cream, a dessert that we would never have ordered. But would definitely order in the future. We also ordered the chocolate, caramel, orange cake, which was good but would not repeat. The photos are of the desserts. We will be back. Our meal with drinks and tip was $64 USD for the two of us.

Our waitress (a Star Wars lover) was absolutely awesome (embarrassed I didn't get her name). Delightful personality, helpful, and a great server. For us, the restaurant music was too loud. Otherwise, a great time

Although the restaurant was "out of" a few main dishes (this was on a slow Monday night), the dishes we selected were very good. Our waitress was delightful, though receiving our first drink took far too long to deliver. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the patio as it was a very nice evening.

Very funky restaurant with a lively vibe, amazing food, and extremely exotic drinks. The presentation of the food and the drinks was second to none. DJ starts up at about 8 so go early if you want a more romantic meal and later if you want to have more of a party atmosphere.

We tried this restaurant in Puerto Vallarta and it was exceptional. The staff were so fun and entertaining and the food was beyond what we expected. The cocktails are next level. One of their signature cocktails all proceeds go to a local dog shelter, which is an added bonus in our books. Highly recommend..

Las porciones de los platos fuertes son demasiado pequeñas, al igual que se tardaron mucho tiempo en entregar los alimentos. Los platillos son caros para lo que realmente se sirve. No regresaría y no lo recomiendo.

Terrible sushi. Service was bad. Martini was half full. Wouldn’t recommend it.

I’m convinced that all these other people that have left good reviews have never had good sushi before. The rolls come served in a pool of soy sauce to mask the flavor of the roll itself. Because of the way the rolls are served it ends up being a soggy salt bomb that only tastes like soy sauce. I also ordered the grilled jumbo shrimp and that was only decent i guess. The sauce that was poured over the shrimp tasted of curry and it was just an odd flavor. Reggie, the owner of the restaurant was nice but it is obvious that he has never learned how to make sushi properly
