"Patara" Fine Thai Cuisine is an up-scale dining concept serving a contemporary Thai cuisine, maintaining the authentic flavours of Thai culinary excellence. Over the years, the Patara restaurants have garnered widespread acceptance abroad and helped to promote the art of Thai cuisine. The first Patara is established in London at Fulham Road in 1990, then six years later, 1996, the second Patara was open at Beauchamp Place, followed by 3rd Patara at Maddox Street in 2002. The 4th Patara at Soho was open and become a flagship of Patara, receiving great reviews from all top UK media.
Patara, which translates as gracious lady, derives its inspiration from Khun Patara Sila-On who, for the past 30 years as a restaurateur, has brought her warm, contemporary interpretation of Thai hospitality to Patara Fine Thai Cuisine in London, Geneva and Vienna.

I am a massive fan of Patara in South Kensington and Soho . The food is always amazing and the service is immaculate . Massive thanks to Alice . She is in charge and so professional . She is so good with customers with a beautiful smile but she is so good with her staff too . Which is so important as no team work , chaos on the floor . Special lady she is . See you soon for sure xx

Amazing food. I've been visiting London regularly for 20+ years. This is the best Thai I've had. We had the scallops (appetizer), green curry with chicken, coconut braised beef, and broccoli (side), plus desserts. All were excellent.

Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was cold, some items a bit over cooked and it seems the restaurant (group) has marketed themselves to more upscale, going a little more fancy but the level and quality of the food is not justifying the increase in price.

We went to Patara South Ken for dinner last Saturday 31st Aug. We always try to go when in London. Food and service were excellent (as usual). We wanted to go to restaurant earlier vs booking and we called and there was no problem about it. Staff really nice

We arrived early but it was no problem to seat early, we had a nice table by the window. The waiter took out drinks and food orders in our own time. Starters can quickly and were really good. Service was good throughout regularly topping up the water, but subtle so not feeling pressured at any point. The waiters were very polite too, For mains we had a salad and a pad Thai and it was all surprisingly filling so we ordered just the right amount. The pad Thai was quite big compared to the salad. Overall the food was really nice and would recommend anyone to visit, two starters two mains and two glasses of wine, plus water came to just under £100.

Food was amazing, a little pricier but the taste warranted the cost. Charlie the waiter was so lovely and helpful and very attentive. The mocktails were great too!

Great location in South Kensington. Authentic decor. Great menu. Food presented well with excellent service. Good tasted superb. A good selection of set meals and individual dishes. Good cocktails as well.
