Effortlessly blending the eccentric personality of New Orleans’ bar culture with the old-world charm and sophistication of a classic social club, Peacock Room delivers a bright and vibrant feel during the day and a sexy, moody atmosphere come sundown, perfect for an afternoon aperitif, social dinner or an end-of-evening nightcap.     We started with truffle fries, hummus and oysters, all terrific. The cocktails were very good and the bar was a beautiful teal and gold feast for the eyes. The hot chicken sandwich was loved by two in our party, as was the short rib dinner. The vegetarians in our group had only one entree option, which we knew going in. They supplemented with sharing plates of crispy Brussel sprouts and more truffle fries. And though we thought we had no room for dessert, we sampled each of the 3 sweets on offer and they were amazing. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.

    Upon arrival it took a few minutes before the hostess arrived to greet us to our seats. This visit was our second time dining at the Peacock Room. Our first dining experience was brunch. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is well decorated. Felt like Christmas. I wished the dinner menu had more food options, but overall great experience and delicious food and cocktails.

    The food was great. The service was good but to be fair it was a Saturday night and packed. The noise level was an extreme.
