A refreshing new breed of wine bar, Peacock is a relaxed and boisterous hideaway overlooking the city’s picturesque waterfront in the heart of Halifax’s bustling Queen’s Marque district. Serving an ever-evolving list of labels including small-production and hard-to-find bottles as well as an extensive by-the-glass selection, its menu features a thoughtfully curated list of sharing plates and handmade pastas lightly anchored in local seafood and seasonal vegetables.

Beautiful & ambient wine bar! Great list of wines and delicious cocktails. More on the expensive side but all is delicious and service was wonderful!

We were greeted when we arrived with warmth and cheerfulness. This continued with every interaction with staff. They were knowledgeable about the food and beverages and confidently answered our questions. The food was exceptional - in every way, in every bite. Flavours were exquisite to our palates. The servings were just right. This was a lovely experience!

Great experience from beginning to end. We chose the chef prix fixe and had a wonderful meal. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was perfect. Beautiful ambiance and decor, we will be back for sure.

Our server was FANTASTIC. Very knowledgeable and upbeat. We wish we caught her name she was a delight, she absolutely needs a raise. Some small children running when we first came in but they left quickly.

The servers and hostess did not seem like they had any exoerience woirking in restaurants. They were nice enough but not informative.

Another lovely evening at Peacock! Delicious fondue, and ambiance. But it is the service that makes it stand out. Madeline was lovely and attentive without being invasive during our dinner. It was a very nice change of pace from other place I've dined recently. Will be back for sure!
