    This was not the best experience this time. We have been here many times and this was failure. Wrong items were brought and a main course was given to the wrong table and we had to wait 15 min for the new course to be delivered. They also forgot my dressing. It was just an epic failure.

    This is my family's second visits to Peohe's this year. This time we celebrated my daughter's birthday and everyone had an amazing dinner. We personally love their outside deck dining because you can see beautiful downtown San Diego. So even on a cold San Diego evening with mild fog rolling in, it was beautiful!!! They amazing heat lamps by the way. Carrie provide excellent service, considering there was a bit mishap in the dinner arriving for everyone. She handled herself beautifully with my family and a smile and made sure everyone was taken care of. Essentially since no manager on a Friday night came out to check on my family of 10. Which was a bit disappointing for an establishment like Peohe's. Thank goodness they had Carrie.

    Another great evening; and again accompanied by our 12, 10 y/o grandchildren. On top of that, Patrick our server and David (our server from previous visits), made them feel special, they were very nice to them. As always, Peohe's always is a winner. Great food and service. A special thank you, once again, to the chef for accommodating my grandchildren's request.

    Restaurant was notified of this meal a special birthday . They made no recognition of the celebration. Service was very slow. 30 minutes plus between courses. Waitress brought the wrong food. My roast beef was carbonized. I literally could not bite into the meat and sent it back. The crab cake was nothing more than breading in the shape of a crab. The bread rolls were hard and no variety unlike prior visits. The lava cake was half its usual size. My wife ordered a shrimp entree and was given the shrimp appetizer. Other people were celebrating their birthdays and received complimentary desserts. Despite the management being notified of our birthday celebration before hand, we did NOT receive any gratis cake. Personally after patronizing this restaurant for over 25 years or more since its opening, we deserve an apology and complimentary meals.

    Although our server was as accommodating and attentive as could be expected, the overall experience of dining at Preohe’s was a disappointment. The dishes we ordered (Prime Rib, Sea Bass) weee served in lukewarm plates and my fish was definitely overcooked. We were also disappointed that they ran out of New York Strips, Key Lime pie, and a few other key items on a night with limited Prix Fix dinner menu Finally, even though our server was kind enough to box up our desserts to go, nothing was separated so black mousse cake and white raspberry cakes ended up sort of smearing together. For the price of the Christmas dinner I felt that this was just not a good value overall.

    The food was not very good Coconut shrimp was overcooked Steak was the worst NY strip I have ever had The salmon was about the same. Even the mac and cheese was below par and my son ate mostly bread. For the price, it should have been better quality.
