Sleek and modern with one foot firmly in the Old World is the feeling at Perbacco. The restaurant boasts a brick wall original to the historic 1913 Hind building, with other touches such as a bar top and floor tiles made from white Carrara marble. With 16 seats at the bar and 7 more intimate tables, Perbacco creates an atmosphere for a glass of wine or a light bite. Perbacco also features 2 dining rooms, one on the main floor and a smaller one on the Mezzanine, which has the added allure of serving as "theater", with windows to watch all the action in the kitchen below. Chef Staffan Terje strives to cook the finest food reflecting the Italian regions of Piemonte and Liguria. Handcrafted, house-made salumi, prosciutto and other charcuterie are not to be missed. Seasonal pastas, a tradition in Piemonte, range from the traditional ravioli to the more exotic agnolotti. Main courses feature dishes such as stuffed quail breast, a selection of seafood dishes, and vegetarian options.

Excellent in all respects. One minor change is that Perbacco no longer offers smaller portions of pasta. Otherwise, all fine!

Perbacco was excellent, as always. Lovely evening with wife and daughter in law visiting from out of town. A little noisy, even on a Thursday night. Food was great.

Went here for our 25th wedding anniversary. Split the halibut, it was dry and bland. Apps were decent but not great. We would have thought a comped dessert for 25th anniversary would have been a nice touch, didn't happen. Not sure what the hoopla is about this place.

Perbacco has been my favorite for a long time, but something has changed—maybe a new chef? The quality of the food just isn’t the same. I used to love the short ribs, but they’re no longer on the menu. The burrata dish was especially disappointing—just half a tiny piece instead of a whole one, which feels like a cost-cutting move—served with a bunch of arugula and peeled citrus scattered around, all drowned in a heavy sauce. The gem salad was even worse—small, soggy, and covered in a terrible dressing.

Comfortable experience. Service is very good. Cocktails are very well done. Food is good although a bit uninspired. Have been many times and will be back.

We love perbacco! The hamachi crudo is not to be missed and the tagliatelle and the seafood spaghetti were as good as anything I have eaten in Rome.

Had an awesome time! The starters were spot on fresh, flavorful, and just the right way to kick things off. The drinks? Perfectly made and super refreshing. The food itself was next level everything was cooked just right and packed with flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients. On top of that, the vibe was just right great energy, cool atmosphere, and friendly service. Definitely a place I’d come back to. Highly recommend!
