Sleek and modern with one foot firmly in the Old World is the feeling at Perbacco. The restaurant boasts a brick wall original to the historic 1913 Hind building, with other touches such as a bar top and floor tiles made from white Carrara marble. With 16 seats at the bar and 7 more intimate tables, Perbacco creates an atmosphere for a glass of wine or a light bite. Perbacco also features 2 dining rooms, one on the main floor and a smaller one on the Mezzanine, which has the added allure of serving as "theater", with windows to watch all the action in the kitchen below. Chef Staffan Terje strives to cook the finest food reflecting the Italian regions of Piemonte and Liguria. Handcrafted, house-made salumi, prosciutto and other charcuterie are not to be missed. Seasonal pastas, a tradition in Piemonte, range from the traditional ravioli to the more exotic agnolotti. Main courses feature dishes such as stuffed quail breast, a selection of seafood dishes, and vegetarian options.

They prepared a very special and memorable dinner for my family. The staff’s attention is excellent, and it would be impossible not to highlight the outstanding service. On top of that, the food was exquisite. At first, we were hoping to find more options on the menu, but after taking Chef Tobias’s recommendations, I can trust that any of the dishes will be absolutely delicious. A truly great restaurant in every aspect.

Arrived for Christmas Eve dinner, sat in bar area until our 5:30 reservations. They offered happy hour however was charged full price for wine. Staff was good, food was good. The overall ambience for the holidays was just lacking overall holiday decor was not great.

We enjoyed another satisfying experience at Perbacco. Our starters included pear/gorgonzola salad, and a hamachi crudo. For our entrees we selected the pork chop and a tagliatelle with short rib ragu. Both were excellent. And the Perbacco wine list allowed us to select (with assistance from our server) a perfect bottle of wine to compliment the meal. As usual, the service was spot on, and its always great to see the owner onsite, ensuring everyone is enjoying their meal. I did rate the noise level as moderate but with the open kitchen design, some of that is to be expected. However, the high ceilings, brick walls, and overall layout of the dining room still allows easy conversations with dinner companions and servers. We will certainly be back.

This was.our 4th time dining here. We’ve always had a positive experience dining here. The food and service were excellent. Our waiter, Giovanni was very helpful and friendly and provided exceptional service.
