Perch is an intimate fine dining restaurant focusing on Canadian ingredients, ethical and sustainable products.
Awarded as the 4th Best New Canadian Restaurant 2022 by Enroute, and #85 for Canada's Best Restaurants 2023. With the dining room facing into the wide open kitchen offering a nine course tasting menu and a bar focusing on unique cocktails and natural wines.

Nine Course tasting menu is $145 for food menu
Beverage Pairing is $100 per person (optional)
Non-Alcoholic Beverage Pairing is $85 per person (optional)

We release reservations 60 days in advance.

  • Tasting Menu - 9 Course Meal

    Our 9 course tasting menu is $145 per person. We suggest allowing 3 hours for your meal. We also offer a beverage pairing at an additional charge, we also have plenty of by the glass options for wine, beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails. The whole table must do the tasting menu, we do not offer an a la carte option. We are able to accommodate most dietary restrictions with 48 hours notice.

    Michelin recommended Ten Restaurant from Toronto will be joining us in Ottawa for one night to do an 8 course collaboration menu. Four courses from Ten and four from Perch. Ten is an unapologetically plant focused restaurant, pushing the limit on how we treat and cook vegetables. Leading the way in sustainable cuisine and a healthy work culture within restaurants. Tasting menu is $150 per person Beverage Pairing (Optional) is $100 per person Due to the nature of this event we are unable to accept some dietary restrictions, including; Vegan, No Allium, No Soy (unless soy sauce/miso is ok). We apologize for any inconveniences.

    Excellent meal over all. We absolutely loved 7 out of the 9 dishes. One savoury that we both found just ok and a little acidic for our taste and i would say the dessert was the only disappointment. I had heard that prior to attending and unfortunately it was accurate. Just didn’t live up to the rest of the meal. By no means did that overshadow the rest of the courses that were beautifully prepared and executed. A nice verity of proteins. Service was great. It was a nice pace for 9 courses. Definitely a treat as it’s not inexpensive but i certainly think the value is there.

    Perch was such a unique experience, we did the 9 course tasting menu and every dish takes you on a journey. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something special.

    What a great experience we've had. The service was not only superb, but we were served by extremely competent servers, who took the time to explain how the food was prepared and where the ingredients came from, always in a very friendly manner. The proposed drinks to accompany the food were perfect matches. Speaking of the food, this was among the best I have had for a long time. I highly recommend this culinary experience!

    This was a phenomenal treat- starting with a gift certificate from our daughter and her partner. From out-of-country they searched sustainable, Canadian, creative and accommodating. And found perch. The nine course surprised tasting menu was one wonderful surprise after another, paired with interesting alcohols. The calvados/vermouth/amaro house blend at the end was deeply memorable. Back to the food. Fennel poached mussels, mustard macaron with scallop, salmon squash pudding, etc etc and etc. Each dish was unique and satisfying. I appreciated the “kitchen waste” dessert at the end of the meal and also that it wasn’t too sweet, but it was the one miss, if only because it was quite dry. We loved the experience and will definitely be back.

    Wonderful pleasant service, very delicious food, the non alcoholic pairing was interesting. The one pairing did not hit the mark as it tasted purely like vinegar. Food was top notch until the dessert which all 4 of us agreed did not taste very good. I appreciate the effort to not want to have food waste but the dessert tasted as much which made us wonder if the team actually tasted and approved it. Again, the service and team was outstanding and this place is worth a visit, or many.

    Excellent food prepared with meticulous detail. The staff are so warm and friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drink. Was able to accommodate a few dietary restrictions with attention to detail even in providing me the menu that reflected those changes. Wonderful evening experience and hope to find some of the wines again.

    Great tasting menu with excellent beverage pairing. Appreciated the dedicated personal service with unique ingredients & information re preparation of the items. Liked the green philosophy at Perch. So glad we went & hope to return.

    We went to perch recently and had a wonderful experience. The tasting menu was fabulous. The service was knowledgeable and attentive. It was lovely to be able to see the kitchen. Highly recommend choosing perch for your next special occasion.
