Perla's offers fresh fish and oysters flown in daily from both coasts with an emphasis on sourcing from the gulf and locations around the world. The bar makes delicious coastal cocktails and the wine list is stocked with fun sparkling, rosé & white wines.
Perla's has Austin’s prettiest oak-shaded patio and a comfortable airy dining room featuring a huge saltwater fishtank, poured concrete oyster bar and open kitchen.

I ordered oysters on the half shell, they were excellent. I also ordered lobster bisque, it tasted concentrated as if it had been sitting, heating for a while, definitely not the best. I ordered a beer, but didn’t receive it until I reminded the waiter. Overall a nice meal.

The food was exceptional. The oysters, crab cake and fish dishes were all delicious. Very good wine list. Had great service by Kristine S . Definitely coming back next time in Austin.

Food was great- Service was fantastic. My aunt stopped through town and we decided last minute dinner plans. We were obvi underdressed but the staffed made us feel welcome. Our server picked up on the fact we will be chatting quite a bit and left us to catch up (great timing). I knew my aunt was gonna fight for the bill but I already told him- I’m taking it. And I’m glad he held up the bargain and didn’t give in to the sweet old lady eyes. She truly is a wonderful lady and you made this evening make her feel wonderful. So thank you to the server from table 209. <3

Perla’s remains one of the best choices for fresh seafood in Austin. Our main courses were well prepared and quite good. Our shared appetizer of fried calamari was not good. It was full of bell pepper slices and lacked any salt or flavor. Service was on point. Prices were on the high side especially now that their menu is more “steakhouse” style where most entrees do not come with sides. I prefer a curated plate and they do offer these as well. Overall we had a solid experience, but at a much higher cost than in the past.

It was our first visit to Perla’s and we will definitely be going back! Our drinks were wonderful and our food was spectacular! The vibe is so fun!
