Petunia, one of many boutique BYOB eateries in the Kara Restaurant Group, is located in historic Cape May Court House: a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the islands, just a fifteen minute drive from Stone Harbor, and the home to our beautiful county park and zoo.

With a focus on house-made fresh pasta and comfort food, Executive Chef Nick Price has prepared a rustic, Italian inspired dinner menu.

Allow yourself to explore the fresh flavors at Petunia in the intimacy of our warmly lit dining room, or enjoy outdoor dining in our garden patio surrounded by greenery and nature.

                                                  Petunia is a great place to get into the holiday spirit, cozy and well decorated. Perfect place for 2 or more. The baked brie is a delectable starter to share followed by the wedge. My venison pappardelle was perfection, the meat was so tender and the pappardelle melted in with the flavors of the venison was just perfect. I usually take half of my dinner home, but not this dish - all was enjoyed with not a leftover. My guest had the spaghetti and meatballs, I think there are better options on the homemade pasta menu, but he enjoyed it very much. We ended with a cannoli and French press coffee - it was a 5 star dining experience....

                                                  My husband and I had a great time at Petunia’s as always! The winter menu was a nice surprise. My husband got the venison parpadelle (flavor town ) and I got the veggie lasagna with the Rosa sauce which (homemade spinach lasagna as part of the dish) was a keeper too. Our waitress Liz was so nice and helpful with our menu choices. The Chef came out to great the customers which was a real nice touch and we can’t wait to go back again !

                                                  This was my first time at Petunia and it was outstanding! The food was excellent, I ordered the scallops and was not disappointed. I ended up bringing some home they were so delicious. Despite not finishing my dinner I did save room for the pumpkin cake which was definitely something I would go back for! The service was excellent and I can’t wait to try some more of the choices that were on the menu.
