Executive Chef & Proprietor Bret Thompson, with a rich culinary background spanning prestigious establishments in the U.S. and abroad, brings his expertise to Pez Coastal Kitchen. Joined by his wife Lucy Thompson-Ramirez, they have left an indelible mark on the Los Angeles dining scene with their previous ventures, including the beloved Pez Cantina and LA Burrito Co. in Montebello, but at Pez Coastal Kitchen,Chef Bret’s focus shifts to innovative techniques such as curing, smoking, and specialized dry-aging of seafood which will be a distinctive feature.

The menu at Pez Coastal Kitchen reflects our culinary team's commitment to excellence, offering a tantalizing array of appetizers, chilled seafood, crudos, family-style entrees, exceptional sides, and innovative desserts. From Chilled Beets with hazelnuts to Whole Fried Fish and decadent desserts like Warm Chocolate Butterscotch Peanut Butter Cake, each dish is crafted with precision and creativity.

                                  Been for dinner and it was great but this is my new favorite brunch spot! Every dish was absolutely delicious, drinks were great, and service was fantastic! Highly recommend Pez with its cool interiors and elevated dining experience.

                                  First time visiting and weren’t disappointed! Loved the decor and the vibe and the food definitely lived up to expectations ! We had the Sunday brunch and now can’t wait to come Back for dinner ! It’s a local for us so we will definitely be back !

                                  Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Pasadena. Easy parking. Ambiance is beautiful with large tropical fans and dramatic lighting. Bar is a great place to stop for a rest. Happy hour options were excellent and every item was delicious! Loved the oysters and bubbles option.

                                  This was our second time dining at Pez. We LOVE it! We have been impressed by the food, how fresh and flavorful and perfectly cooked it is. We are charmed by the design and atmosphere inside. We are big fans of our server (both times!) Michelle. Just perfect!
