Pez Loco is the brainchild of James Beard nominated Rising Star Chef Ari Taymor. Hailing from the west coast, Chef Taymor has been inspired by his time in the coastal areas of LA and Mexico and is dishing out bold flavors and innovation on every plate.

Worst experience ever. I made a reservation for a new years experience. I prepaid $500 for myself and my girlfriend. When I got there my name was not on the list. After showing them my reservation, I waited 10 min for them to agree to let me be seated, and then I was seated at a small half booth with a very low table. It was clear they overbooked. All other guests had actual tables with chairs. We were neglected for 15 min, no water, nothing. Then a server comes by and brings us water, but the glasses won’t arrive for another 10 min. Server had to confirm we were allowed to eat, and then explained that there was no menu, no options, we simply ate what was available as part of the package. At this point we simply asl for the food. After over an hour of seeing food being served to all other tables except ours,I asked to speak to the manager. They brought the food 5 min later, but the manager never showed up. No one even spoke to us regarding this experience. The food was cold and simply terrible. After some time, a couple of people we seated in a similar setting to us, right next to us. I asked if they had a reservation and if they paid a cover and and they confirmed they didn’t. We were essentially treated as though we had no reservation and didn’t pay. We barely ate anything and after no one being available to speak to, we left. Will be seeking a refund

We got a reservation , when we arrived the restaurant was completely empty. The server not even say “welcome “ he was not meant to be working that day. He approached to the table , ready to order ? And then, because his attitude , I decided to take my family somewhere else. Never come back. And I hope they go out of business.

Place was pretty empty, slow service, over priced drinks, maybe Art Basel markup...but worst was the food came out staggered for everyone. No kitchen planning at all. Half the group was done when others were still waiting. (Party of 6)

They must be local if they think their fish taste good, so smoky I believe I have black lung disease after eating it. Shrimp dish served with rush, shrimp, scallop dish served with scallops that tasted like rubber. Absolutely absurd they have such a high rating this is Resturant to Skip!

Beautiful Restaurant with excellent creative cuisine. I would have rated Pez Loco 5 stars if not for our server, although extremely nice & attentive, did not know the menu and could not explain the difference between the 3 salsas on the menu except for their color. A restaurant of this caliber who is working towards a Micheline Star has to have all their servers highly trained on the menu and how the chef prepares the items on the menu. This is a MUST !!! Our reservation was at 8:45PM on a Sat evening and the restaurant was 50% full which was surprising. I will be back, because the food was outstanding and I am hopeful that they will invest more time in training the servers to improve the customer experience.

Had Ana amazing dinner with my family for my birthday the food was great so was the drinks and the wine . The portions a bit small but savory and delicious . I sill definitely go back again .

We went in on a Thursday night. It was very quiet in there but the atmosphere and service was wonderful. Wayne was our server and we tried a few different plates on the menu. The cocktails are creative and delicious. I recommend ordering a few plates to share amongst the table. It was a great experience and I would absolutely recommend Pez Loco if you are in the Miami area.
