Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing sharing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. They have a range of freshly made juices and also Vietnamese beers and a large wine and cocktail list. Pho’s menu is 40% vegan and nearly entirely gluten-free too. They also have an accessible kids’ menu where children can get a meal and a drink for £5.95

We had a fantastic experience at Pho. It was our first visit. I had the classic chicken curry served with jasmine rice, it was so good. My Partner had the hot & sour beef brisket broth, he said it was delicious. The service was top notch, the lovely Josh served us. The only thing I would say is that the music was way too loud, a couple of notches down would be perfect. We will definitely be back.

Visited Pho first time at a friend's recommendation and absolutely loved it! We tried both the wok fried noodles and the curries and it was the best I have had so far. The location is perfect and Tyson our server was so kind and efficient. Would definitely recommend!

A great Pho place on the 3rd floor of the St James center. Get a reservation or you’ll need to wait in line. Almost all options are gluten free. Baby squid is a must appetizer.

Lovely food, ambiance. Was busy but pleasant waitress and served food quick enough. Would advise to book in advance for dinner.

Certainly the food here is worth the buck, I was practically hugging it at the end. The service is on per, as was the wine selection and dessert. Thank you PHO for having me. Kudos to the witty waiter that made me feel not that I was dining alone but with somebody.

Difficult to rate as we couldn’t stay to eat. On arrival we were kindly shown to our table but the music was too loud for us. It was busy and there wasn’t a quieter table we could move to so reluctantly we decided to leave and went across the shopping mall to eat at Bonny & Wild. Such a shame as the food looked good.

We sat down at 4:30pm, and our group was a family of 4 with two kids aged 8 and 9. Pho wasn’t busy, and everything seemed fine at first. Only two of our starters (which we were sharing) arrived. After we’d finished them the waiter came over and asked if we’d had everything, we said no and the missing starters appeared shortly afterwards. We then had a very long wait for our main courses. During this time other tables were seated and finished. My wife had a view of the kitchen and could see there were only three people working in it, and they were very busy fulfilling deliveroo orders. The waiter came over to apologise but didn’t offer any information about when we might be able to expect the food, only that they were “keeping an eye on it”. He offered us a drink while we waited, and I asked whether the offer was a free drink because of the wait, he said no. He then said that he would take the discretionary service off the bill. I just replied to say that meant nothing, it’s discretionary so it would have been taken off by us anyway. The idea that he was positioning this as some sort of compensation annoyed me. The food eventually arrived and was very nice, and I did feel for the waiting staff. The kitchen was overwhelmed even though the restaurant was half empty. Even during this time though they continued to seat more tables, adding to the pressure on them all. We ordered a round of soft drinks and when the bill came they had taken these off, which was appreciated, but. All in all, for the money, despite the free cokes, a bad experience.
