The wait staff were friendly and helpful, albeit slightly hard to hear, perhaps due to the acoustics in the room. The food, while tasting fresh, ranged from slightly under-seasoned to vastly over-seasoned. In particular, the mashed potatoes that accompany the half-chicken dish was bordering on inedible due to how salty it was; a shame since the texture was great and the chicken was juicy. I do not regret dining here, but am not in a hurry to come back.

Restaurant was nicely updated, but very loud. Hard to hear over the ambient noise. Waiter was very friendly, but didn't seem to know the menu very well, she had to say she would check on something several times. Food was quite good, but by no means exceptional. All in all, a very nice time. I will return.

Since their remodel feel Piattis has missed the mark. We have been twice and won’t be back for an awhile. Was our favorite place. Meal tonight was lackluster. Soup was flavorless, their roasted chicken and potatoes was always a winner…tonight lukewarm and unexciting. Husband’s ravioli, another great dish had obviously been sitting for awhile, edges of ravioli were tough and chewy. We asked for bread three times before we got it. Bread was warm and nice. Service was friendly,y but very slow. The holiday crowd was busy, but in the past wasn’t an issue for service. Won’t recommend anymore. Hoping our next visit the kinks between kitchen and service and table will have been worked out.

We had paninis for lunch and the chicken and the turkey was "manufactured" meat! It was tough and you needed a steak knife to cut!

We have been going to Piatti for many years. Always a good experience. It has been remodeled and they have jammed more tables into the space. No more white tablecloths, furniture cheap, extremely loud. We made a reservation a week in advance but they seated us in a terrible location, near the restrooms with a partition of metal bars. When we arrived we requested a table in another area but they would not accommodate. This is the 3rd time I have been to Piatti since the remodel and every experience has been negative. Done with Piatti. There are many excellent choices in Danville.

It was a special occasion and our waitress,Patricia T, was terrific. The food was delicious and we had the perfect table. All was perfect I intend to give Patricia more money Tip was not enough for her care Will definitely return. Hoping for table 41
