Group of five entertaining a couple of friends from LA for Sunday lunch. Food was delicious and our server, Javier, was great! We liked the salumi board. Pizza and pasta never misses. I like the newly renovated restaurant. Highly recommended.

We have enjoyed meals at Piatti’s in the past. We liked the white table cloths the menu, atmosphere, value and service. After the renovations, the restaurant feels more like a hotel restaurant or family coffee shop. The appetizer and salads came out at almost the same time. The arugula salad, prawn appetizer and bread with dipping sauce were good. The linguini and clams had a very heavy sauce and the pork pappardelle was very salty. It was overall not as nice or tasty as before the renovations.

The remodel cleaned up a tired look. Cearly their emphasis for the remodel was the “Bar” and outside area. It was great to see the old entrance reopened. Prices took a pretty good bump but that’s everything.

Delicious petrole sole cooked perfectly. Beef rigatoni very tasty. Service as always outstanding!

Our food was just okay, the sole dish did not look appetizing! My brother had to wait for his silverware to eat. We had to get up and ask an employee for a set! All in all - a bit disappointed

We have always loved Piatti but since the remodel the ambiance is cold and the service is ok at best. The food is expensive and the quality did not warrant the prices. Our pizza was heavy on tomatoes and arugula but very light on the sausage and the pizza dough was soggy instead of having a bit of crispness to it. Our guest had Eggplant Parmesan and while she did not complain about it she only took a few bites and then ordered something else. The best thing on the menu was the side of Creamy Polenta. It was excellent. We are sad that this iconic restaurant has gone downhill so much.

The wait staff were friendly and helpful, albeit slightly hard to hear, perhaps due to the acoustics in the room. The food, while tasting fresh, ranged from slightly under-seasoned to vastly over-seasoned. In particular, the mashed potatoes that accompany the half-chicken dish was bordering on inedible due to how salty it was; a shame since the texture was great and the chicken was juicy. I do not regret dining here, but am not in a hurry to come back.

Restaurant was nicely updated, but very loud. Hard to hear over the ambient noise. Waiter was very friendly, but didn't seem to know the menu very well, she had to say she would check on something several times. Food was quite good, but by no means exceptional. All in all, a very nice time. I will return.
