                                                                              Lovely decor, and was excited to try somewhere new. Menu looked good, but actually the food that we got (6 plates for £40) I wouldn’t choose again. The burrata was nice, but polenta chips and pesto sauce was bland. Zucchini fritters were very salty. Overall felt disappointed and wouldn’t choose to return for food anytime soon.

                                                                              Lovely experience and great food, service was great too. A couple of very minor improvements would be. We ordered all x 18 starters as sharing plates for 4 people and they pretty much all came at once, leaving little room for manoeuvre on the table. And the restaurant emptied quite early for a Friday night - we were the only table left at 10pm. We stayed for an hour and were made to feel very welcome despite being the last diners. We got a free shot and a free desert. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return. Overall it was ACE!

                                                                              We didn’t end up eating here on Valentine’s Day as the menu did not have a lot of options to choose from, and you could not order from the normal menu. We felt that we would have wasted money even just buying one to share. Staff were nice and made effort to arrange a table for our reservation as it was very busy. They were understanding when we said we were going to leave. The ambience was too quiet in there. Not usually a fan of loud music in bars, etc. but our experience was that it felt awkward being there as the other patrons were whispering to each other. The inside of the place looks like an Ikea demo room.

                                                                              Hi Dylan I'm really sorry you felt the need to leave this review. Valentines is the busiest day of the year in most restaurants and everyone's expectations are so high. Its not true that you were told you couldn't have the main menu, we were offering a really special Valentines menu so we could being joy to the maximum amount of people. Rating food as 1 star with value for money as 2 star when you consumed nothing is also not really fair an honest reflection is it. However we are really confident in what we do and our value for money, so how about you book again, I will offer you 30% off as you felt let down on Valentines and you can judge us fairly. I'm soconfident, that anyone who reads the review and books mentioning "Dylans" review I will deduct 10% as an extra reason to try us.

                                                                              We attended Piattini on Valentine’s Day , and whilst the food was very good ( especially the arancini and prawns ), the service was poor. Like most restaurants, Valentine’s Day is a busy day and Piattini did not have the staff to cope with this. Every time we were served by a waiter/waitress it was because we called them over and got their attention, not them just automatically coming to us. They seemed to be rushing around a lot. However, the food was very good, and staff were extremely friendly, but just need more staff to deal with the busier times.
