Piazza D’Angelo is a family run Italian trattoria located in the heart of downtown Mill Valley. With a bustling bar scene and a natural light-soaked dining room, Piazza D'Angelo evokes a Southern Italian dining experience with a unique sense of home comfort.

Enjoy a variety of fresh pastas, wood-fired pizzas, antipasti, as well as fresh fish, prime meats and our signature tiramisu.

We offer two patios for al fresco dining, a wood-burning pizza oven, a full service bar, and private dining spaces for your social or business gathering.

Named after the restaurant's location right on the piazza of downtown Mill Valley, Piazza D'Angelo is an ode to Southern Italian trattorias - family owned, rustic neighborhood restaurants that serve fresh, unassuming, locally-sourced delicious food.

Both the bar and table service were excellent. The seafood was perfectly seasoned and the pizza Something to write home about.

                                                                                              The 4 of us had a wonderful dinner together. Our server was wonderful and even brought out a Tiramisu because both men in our party were celebrating birthdays. We always have wonderful dinners at Piazza D'Angelo - we would have enjoyed being outside with headlamps but the patio was closed.

                                                                                              We were a party of two for dinner on a busy Saturday night. We had reservation. We ordered sea bass and risotto off the special menu. My wife said the sea bass was one of the best servings of fish that she has ordered in a long time. My risotto was excellent, perfectly prepared. Service was very attentive. Owner greeted us warmly before and after the meal.

The noise level was ridiculous and we had a hard time talking to each other without yelling. Service was absolutely sloppy and disorganized. VERY VERY untrained wait staff. The very sweet guy who filled our water glasses interrupted our conversation over and over and over asking us if we wanted water. You don't need to ask, just pour if the glass is empty and disappear. Standing in front of our table so long and asking over and over was odd. I hate to say that because he was trying so hard, but egads the interruptions were crazy. Our waitress was so clueless about everything. It took 4 requests to get ice for our warm drinking water. The wait staff needs a lot of fine dining training. I didn't expect this at Piazza D'Angelo.
