Chester’s historic beauty and unique atmosphere make it one of the UK’s most popular places to visit. Piccolino, an authentic Italian Restaurant, is a proud fixture of the Chester dining scene. Located on Pepper Street, Piccolino in Chester boasts an open kitchen, cocktail bar, and wine boutique. Piccolino is also home to Chester’s very first Prosecco bar and alfresco terrace.
We visit the regions, meet the producers and are committed to sourcing the best quality ingredients. At Piccolino, passion for provenance is at the forefront of our menu, which incorporates the best and freshest seasonal produce, Italian cheeses, meat and seafood, all delivering pure classic Italian flavours.

Long wait for food, no communication between the staff. We got asked the same questions over and over again. Waited nearly an hour for our food. Poor quality of dishes. Some arrogant staff.

Nice Place, staff excellent, slightly disappointed with the food, bill with drinks was fine, will I go again ? Yes but need to study the menu more.

Food was definitely NOT value for money,Calzone seemed to be all crust with v little filling,also delivered to table flat as pancake. Pizza Amalfitana dry with few anchovies Other two pizzas ok Garlic bread and olives were good Wine ridiculously over priced Restaurant v loud and cramped

Food was lovely ; 2 of us had pasta, and one had gluten-free pizza and chocolate tart. Service was good, and lighting made for a lovely ambience. A glass of wine for £14.50 was a bit of a shock. Toilets are upstairs and quite a distance for one of the guests. Not sure if disabled downstairs but couldn't see it. Good night but quite expensive.

Our experience at Piccolinos -Chester is always of the highest quality . The staff are always warm and welcoming and although it’s becoming incrementally more expensive-the food is always of the highest quality both in taste and presentation.

The food was lovely although having spent some time being clear I was vegetarian and gluten free, my meal was announced as pasta with chicken, to which I said, I don’t eat chicken and then the waitress said, sorry, pasta with salmon. I then reminded her I had ordered a vegetarian pasta and she said yes - it’s vegetarian. This made me very suspicious as to what I was eating and I sought the assurance of the head guy. To be fair, it was exactly what I ordered and was delicious but I could have done without the drama.

Friendly but slow service. Food was good but appetizers are not shareable size. Salad sizes not consistant.
