Piccolo Buco Roma - set mere steps from Rome's famed Trevi Fountain - is where Cooper's Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. Three of us dining, ordered two pizzas and salad, and shared. It was plenty. The pizzas (we had one white and one yellow) were very good. The fungo in white was great. The salad had everything we like and was large enough for 3-4 people. Both pizzas were prepared as expected, based on the techniques advertised, and were really good - thin dough except for the outer crust, cooked completely without being dry or crunchy. Edges properly "burned and blistered". Service was excellent, but we were literally the first customers of the day. Our food was excellent, our server not so much. The worst is when he put dirty glasses from another table down on our table to take an order and then left them there despite many trips past or table and us trying to get his attention. That not one of the waiters passing our table picked up over 10 glasses at the end of our table was a joke. The end of our table was literally in an aisle to a pathway to the kitchen and bar. We had to remind him we ordered drinks (he said they were busy, we were right next to the bar - not that busy, forgot another bottle of water (we asked 3 times) Did not check our table after serving dinner and took forever to bring the dessert menu and check. I really think he was just trolling us at the end. I have not had this bad of service in a long, long time and we eat out at least once a week. The food was outstanding from the meat and cheese appetizer, to the pizzas and truffle dish, the seasonal dessert was the favorite at our table. We will return, but certainly ask for another server. As the holidays ramp up, service needs to be much, much better or I'm afraid the restaurant will suffer and this was on a Monday.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

This was our second time visiting after a great first visit. This time, we were unfortunately underwhelmed. We asked for our children's dishes to be brought out first, even if that meant delaying our appetizer and food. Yet all of our food came out first, then their drinks, their food, and then finally our wine flights. While we were still eating, our waiter brought our check unprompted. We were a little shocked and flagged him down, he seemed annoyed when we told him we weren't ready for the check and wanted to order dessert. We also asked for two additional glasses of wine of the wine of the month but were told the bartender said no, because they didn't want to open more bottles in case they could use them for tastings. Once he brought the final check, it had drinks on there that we had not ordered. He did fix the check but the whole experience left us questioning if we wanted to come back.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

While I like the food, you need to be prepared for the hustle and bustle feel. No real quiet place. The waiter was not very enthused and forgot to bring back some cheese back to the fable and a glass of wine. Another waitress stepped in to help! You really should have a bread option.請問這對你有幫助嗎？
