I had been meaning to go to Pickett's for some time, and took the opportunity to hear a friend's band play to try it. Very glad I did. First of all, great food. And I liked the fact that when I asked the server which the best dishes were, she gave me her recommendations, rather than saying "oh it's all good" - she also did the same for the ample draft beer list (with many of NJ's top craft breweries represented). The fish tacos were among the best I have had, and the spinach salad was well-dressed and amply sized. We ate outdoors, and it was impressive how many staff there were. I don't think I have seen a restaurant so well-staffed post-pandemic. So many places are struggling to get people - Pickett's must be treating its people really well to have so many well-trained people. I never felt ignored. I also was impressed by the price point. Incredibly reasonable - many entrees under $20. The space is also very welcoming. The outdoors has several tents, and bar tables with stools as well as regular tables. The music was at a good volume level, so that you could enjoy it and still talk. This was my first - but my no means my last - visit. It is nice to have an additional neighborhood place to relax in.請問這對你有幫助嗎？
