Acclaimed Los Angeles chef Curtis Stone has a new pop-up restaurant and market called Picnic Society by Gwen. It’s tailor-made for 2020, with pre-made or build-your-own picnic baskets that can be eaten at the restaurant, lawns at The Grove, or at home. Baskets include upgraded picnic classics such as housemade charcuterie, panzanella salad, and a caprese sandwich.

Such a cute place to have brunch but we didn’t like the upstairs tables because you had to sit on the floor but the cushions they provided had to be stacked in pairs to be tall enough. So we asked to be moved downstairs to a table and the hosts and servers were very nice about it. The fish was excellent and so was the ceviche, they put passionfruit in it which was such a bright burst of flavor. A nice pop up place at the grove.

Literally the cutest boho chic pop up restaurant to go to right now in LA. It is a little on the pricey side but totally worth it especially since you can take the cutest photos there. Also don't forget a jacket it does get cold up there!

This is a very open and spread out area that was much appreciated especially during COVID. I specifically requested the upstairs outdoor seating area because people online hinted that you need to request it. The cushions were comfortable, the area was clean, and the view of the Grove during sunset was spectacular. Delicious food & drinks, but I'd say over priced (you are paying for the atmosphere). Their pear & walnut salad is tasty, the Midnight Garden drink was incredible, and the Sauvignon Blanc is my new favorite. At $19/glass though I think I will just buy the bottle. Staff was kind and attentive. I will be back for another special occasion someday.

Very cute outdoor picnic set up! The food was solid but not great, very simple. The drinks were great! Would go for the ambiance and experience.

Such a cute concept. Food and drinks were tasty. Our server was a bit lackluster as if he didn’t want to be there which took away from the experience. However I would still recommend people to try it out because everything else was great!!

The food was excellent. My server was a doll. The only problem I had was where I was sat. So I was sold on upstairs from an advertisement on Instagram. I made the reservation but didn’t specify that I wanted to be upstairs. I asked the host what was up with that and was told I had to be specific about that when making the reservation, but was also told even if I did put that in the reservation it’s not guaranteed that I would be able to sit up there. That absolutely makes no sense. Therefore I will not be returning to this pop up. But appreciate the meal. Thanks.
