We had a great time on New years Eve! The apps were great! We had the crab cake and tuna tacos, both were excellent! For the price we paid, the dinners were just ok. My husbands surf and turf came out ice cold but the waitress was excellent, and replaced it! My friend and I had the filet Oscar, the portion was small, there was literally three stalks of asparagus, the corn risotto was a bit dry, and the ver blanc sauce was super salty. On a great not the crem Brule was heaven and the carrot cake were fabulous.

Ordered prime rib medium it came out like a piece of leather it was so well done. Drinks were good.

Great food and wonderful service. It was very busy because of it being New Year’s Eve, and despite it being a holiday, Pier 22 was fabulous!

Always very good, but they were overwhelmed with people because it was New Year’s Eve, so servers were stretched to the limit and not able to get to their tables as needed.

Hello, My husband and I typically do not like to go out to eat on holidays, as the service and food are typically subpar. But since it was our anniversary, and New Year’s, we thought we would take a chance at this restaurant. We have been here before during non-holiday times and it has been much better. Needless to say, it was quite busy, and the noise level was very high. I had also requested to change tables, as we were placed at a high top. My request was not accommodated. To begin, we ordered a bottle of wine off of the main wine list, and the staff had difficulties finding the bottle of wine. After they finally found the wine, the server came to the table, unprepared to open a bottle of wine. The implement that he was using to open the wine was insufficient, and he couldn’t even get the foil off of the top of the bottle, let alone open the bottle without my assistance and know how. The server was pleasant enough, but clearly had very limited experience. The food was mediocre at best, and cold when it arrived at the table. But we were hungry, and I did not want to send the food back. Further, I despise when a another server comes to the table and announces what dishes they have and asks who has ordered them. Very, very poor training, and speaks poorly of management. I do not wish to be asked if my water glass wants to be refilled. I expect it to be refilled when it’s empty. I do not expect my waiter to manhandle my water glass either. Would not recommend at all going during busy times. We will not return.
