Pierpont's at Union Station has been providing food and service as memorable as the historic setting since its inception in 1999. Named for railroad baron J.P. (Pierpont) Morgan, Pierpont's serves perfectly aged prime steaks and fresh seafood arriving daily. To complement your culinary selections, we maintain an extensive wine list featuring bottles from all over the globe, as well as boast a gorgeous 2-story bar equipped with a rolling library ladder.

Our Private Dining Rooms-located in the Wine Cellar, along with the Pierpont's Belvedere Room on the 2nd floor overlooking Grand Hall, offer more intimate settings for groups of 6 to 60. They are perfect for business or entertaining guests and each room is individually decorated, offering an exceptional place to celebrate a special occasion, close the deal, or have a gathering with friends.

                Fantastic experience!! Due to a change of plans, we arrived about an hour early for our reservation on Christmas Eve and they were kind enough to accommodate us right away. I also want to mention that we originally booked a standard table but the high top was even better for the views and ambiance. We sat right in front of the most beautiful mahogany bar and got to watch the bartenders climb up and down the super high ladder. The food was all exceptional but the baked pimento cheese tray was to die for. The fresh baked sourdough bread was also phenomenal. We had mostly seafood and everything was delicious.

                We’ve been to Pierponts for many dinners, especially Christmas Eve dinner. This was disappointing. We were sat by the kitchen and it was very loud and disruptive. Our service was fine, but it felt very rushed. We were in and out for dinner in under 45 minutes, our drinks came after we ordered dinner. Dessert options were terrible, pumpkin spice crème brûlée during Christmas? Gross. We’ll be taking a break from pierponts for our holiday celebrations.

                Great food and wonderful service. Bar is one of the best stocked in Kansas City. It’s dining as it used to be. Great for a special occasion.

                The burger I had during brunch was not juicy or mouthwatering, kind of dry and a little tough. Not what I expected for the price.

                Suzanne our server was amazing. The salmon, pork chop and Rossetto was very good and we highly recommend. If you are lucky enough to sit in Suzanne’s section - you will have a phenomenal dining experience !!

                Beautiful restaurant in historic Union Station in KC. Waiter was excellent. Drinks, appetizers and sides were great! Steaks not so much. One filet was so tough it was hard to get the fork into it. The other was almost the right temperature but flavor was bland. No seasoning to speak of.

                I only gave 3 stars on the service because I specifically asked for a Cabernet in the $50 range, and he brought us a $75 bottle We would have indulged in another bottle had he not done that. I was treating my boyfriend and would have had a completely different experience if our waiter had respected my ask. The overall service was excellent, but it put a damper on our experience. Possibly a misunderstanding, but felt taken advantage of. I still left 20% but usually leave more, as I am a local and in the service industry
