Pinchy’s seafood restaurant and champagne bar is a seaside oasis in the heart of Melbourne. Inviting our guests to experience typically indulgent delectables such as lobster rolls, our new Wagyu beef burger with smoked crispy tuna bacon, we seek to make the finer flavours in life more accessible, encouraging our guests to enjoy shared dishes in a casual style.

Located in bustling Bourke Street, Pinchy’s boasts one of Melbourne’s favourite balcony bar destinations, with an insta-worthy interior to boot. So if seafood and champagne, cocktails or chablis tickles your fancy, you know where to find us.

The service was disappointingly slow, especially considering the restaurant was only half full. The noise level was surprisingly high for such a quiet night. As for the food, the Wagyu burger was enjoyable, but other dishes fell short. The scalloped potatoes were delicious but tiny and overpriced. The octopus was beautifully presented but disappointingly small for the cost. I also tried their signature lobster roll, which was the size of a dinner roll, underwhelming, and far too expensive. Overall, while some flavors impressed, the experience was let down by portion sizes, pricing, and the overall atmosphere.

Our outdoor table provided a quieter ambience compared to indoors. The food was good, however we thought that the signature Lobster Roll should have been an entrée, not a main. Out of the 4 Lobster Rolls that we ordered, two were particularly lacking in lobster meat. Whilst the wine list was very good, wines were very pricey. Overall, we thought that Pinchy's was fair value for money. The decor needs a bit of refreshing - in particular the outdoor seats were in poor condition. Some staff seemed inexperienced, but were pleasant and friendly.

Waitress should be in standup comedy. I loved it , our client (and the rest of us) were giggling and laughing everytime she came to the table. Well done. Also, the food was 10/10 so fresh and light. Will be taking my clients here again.

We had a group of 9 that met on the terrace for a pre-dinner drink to enjoy the last sunshine of the day which set the tone for a relaxed and fun night. The cocktails were great - in range and taste. The service was outstanding and made the evening very easy. We moved inside (as it is still quite cool in October) and sat at a long table with banquette seating on one side, chairs on the other, and were able to converse with each end of the table quite well, so it was a great venue from that perspective. More importantly the food was very good, the Moonlight Oysters tasted of the sea and the Kingfish Ceviche was outstanding. The lobster roll while not huge, packed a flavour punch and was quite filling. Everyone was happy with their meal and the value. Would recommend.

We booked this for a special birthday and are so pleased we did. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special. They were also friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The food was outstanding in terms of flavour and exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend the lobster roll - wow. Thanks for a lovely meal in a great atmosphere with top class staff.
