Valentine’s Day Friday. Trying to give benefit of the doubt throughout experience. After a while, I could not. When we get there, we find out that their online registration was down. Those of us who booked online could prove we had reservations, yet they still intermingled us with the walk-ins. There were quite a few people who walked out. Not only did they look understaffed, they looked undersupplied/underordered. It seemed that they either didn’t have a busperson at all or they called in. They had 3 tables next to each other who left about the same time. The wise thing to do would have been to clean the three tables quickly to be able to seat the couples that were clogging their tiny entryway. Their hosts cleaned tables, but they looked like they hadn’t clean many tables before. These 3 tables were immediately next to each other, yet one table was cleaned, ten minutes later the next, then ten minutes after the third . No bus tubs, no serving trays. Staff individually ran things from kitchen, bar, and sushi bar with only what they fit in their arms/hands. On our side of restaurant no staff was helping any of the other staff. Bar was out of SO MUCH from underordering—out of liquors from their signature drinks. My wife ordered 5 different drinks (no exaggeration—5!!!!) and all five they were out of. Server wasn’t even told by bar what they were out of. Owner/mgr nice enough, but looked like he was turning circles next to kitchen completely overwhelmed. Wine wall literally had 8 /9 bottles on it (spots for ~100). Standard sushi rolls were a little bigger than circumference of a nickel. Had special menu for the day, but no prices. The server said she wasn’t told details of the menu; she had to ask another server. African/American female server on other side of restaurant looked like she had her stuff together—our experience might have been better had my wife and I been sat in her section, but bad mgmt plan overall. One and only time there, never again.
