Piri Piri Grill first opened its doors in 1998. Since then, restauranteur Agnelo Da-Costa has been serving both quality interpretations of classic Mediterranean dishes and daring new ventures into the uncharted territories of food.

The interior and atmosphere of Piri Piri Grill reflects the hip sensibilities of the modernizing neighborhood while also paying tribute to the culinary history of the Mediterranean.

Food was honestly all tasteless..my wife had the rosoto seafood and it was more like a soup...and she complained of no taste. As if the dish was missing something. I started with the salad and it was honestly a bowl of oil...no flavour no vinegrette it was oil... my main was the fettuccine Alfredo chicken again no flavour at all at the end I found my chicken floating in oil as the bottom of the plate after finishing my fettuccine no taste and now 3 hours later I feel like my stomach is coated in oil. I had been to Piri Piri some 5 plus years ago for a mercy meal after a funeral and found it enjoyable but tonight was beyond poor. Ironically, at one point to make matters worse. We had 4 yes actually 4 different people walk by the table in a 2 to 3 min span to ask how the meal was. .. my answer was all four times " It's fine" not once did someone say just fine? No one picked up on my message. Thats ok but it's bothersome to have so many people come to the table in a short period...my plate was removed prior to my wife finishing her dinner. Please never remove someones plate while the other person is still eating... It's evident to me that the staff want to create a positive experience but perhaps aren't trained on how to properly deleiver it. Therefor, I don't fault the staff. My server who's name I didn't catch now was it offered ..although efficient lacked energy and seemed to not be happy at work this evening. The atmosphere was good the obeisance also good. We weren't offered coffee after our meal. Over all underwhelming....and I can honestly say I was really looking Forward to the meal and the evening. I hope my comments can help, create change and a better experience for others in the future. The restaurant industry is a tuff industry...not every customer is right in their criticism, but not every reasturant if free of opportunity for improvement. I hope this message opens the door for improvement as I love to support neighborhood establishments

We've lived in the neighbourhood for 3 years, driven by this restaurant many, many times and only visited for the first time last night. The food, ambiance, service were all spectacular. We will definitely be returning. I'm only disappointed it took us so long to try this spot!

Great food and great atmosphere. All the seafood dishes were amazing at our table as well as the piri piri chicken. Service was friendly but maybe a bit understaffed. Restaurant was really busy and staff were busy which was good to see. They were all working hard to keep up and apologized to us for the delays. Overall a good experience. Would definitely return.

Lovely restaurant with a great ambiance. Parking is available in the back and in an overflow lot slightly west (look for the signs). High chair was provided for our baby and we were able to store the car seat in an unused section of the dining area. Our server Catarina was lovely. The cocktails were delicious and the food was top notch. Really enjoyed our evening!

We had the lightest best calamari as a starter and followed it with chicken, fries and salad. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The PiriPiri sauce was great.

Piri Piri never disappoints! The food is always amazing! I have a pineapple allergy and when my salmon came with a pineapple salsa, the waitress took it back immediately for them to make another without the salsa. Everyone enjoyed their meals! The desserts are also delicious! Can't go wrong at Piri Piri!

Excellent food and good service. Great neighborhood spot. It’s hard not to order the Piri-piri roast chicken every time because it’s so good.

Best Octopus I’ve ever had as a main. 2nd best grilled Calamari as an appetizer. Service was impeccable and very reasonably priced. I’ll go back for certain.
