Pisces Rising is a celebration of Florida cuisine located in beautiful Mount Dora. Established in 2003, the restaurant offers sweeping views of Lake Dora with multiple options for dining in the main dining room, semi-private, private, and outside areas of the establishment. Pisces Rising is a proud supporter of regional sustainability and utilizing fresh, local ingredients in culinary dishes first and foremost whenever possible. The scratch kitchen, referred to as the "Heart of the House", consists of a team of passionate Chefs who put their love and care into each dish. That passion stretches to the service team whose goal is to deliver the best hospitality delivered with warmth and grace.

                                                                          Went there for my husband's and my Wedding Anniversary. Everything was excellent. The server was very attentive and made our evening special. I had the Wagyu skirt steak with rice pilaf and green beans. The steak comes medium, and it was well seasoned and tasty, the green beans were cooked so well and bursting with flavor, the rice was a bit dried out and hard, but it was well seasoned. My husband had the mahi mahi sandwich and it was seasoned well and delicious. They also have the most delicious lemon creme brulee for dessert. We were able to get a seat on the patio, but I can tell you the closer to 6pm the tables out there filled up quickly. The view is gorgeous, and its first come first serve. I will definitely be visiting again.

                                                                          Had a wonderful birthday celebration and the food and service were excellent. Tommy did an amazing job! It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend to try it!

                                                                          We had reservations to sit inside. Upon arrival the hostess said to another we gave their table to someone else, where should I put them. She raddled off a number and we were put upstairs in a dark room directly in front of the bathrooms. Our waitress said they don’t ever put anyone up here so she was not used to serving upstairs. She was not very Present or attentive to our table never offering refills for our drinks and was really rushed when she did show up. We booked the restaurant for it’s ambience as well as the food and service. Would not recommend this place to anyone or would I ever return.

                                                                          Our server, Angela, made our evening. She was professional, patient and very friendly. Delicious dishes and reasonably priced. There was a female staffer ~ someone told us she was the manager. Tall, dark hair. She was so loud + stood for long periods talking to guests. While making a dish table side, we couldn’t hear each other. Otherwise, a lovely evening. But…turn down the volume.
