The Pitcher Inn is home to a Vermont style dining experience and an à la carte farm-to-table dinner menu created by Chef Jacob Ennis. With thoughtfully sourced ingredients, an appetite for detail, and service that is as knowledgeable as it is warm, our restaurant is a romantic option for your trip to the Warren, Waitsfield, or the Mad River Valley at large. The freshest seafood, locally sourced meats, Vermont artisan cheeses, locally gathered wild mushrooms, and native fruits are artfully combined with fresh and seasonal vegetables and herbs from nearby farms. Paired with an old or new world wine, a meticulously mixed cocktail, or a local craft beer, a meal at The Pitcher Inn is exceptional.

The Wine Cellar may be reserved for private dining. Candles flicker on stone walls, where floor-to-ceiling racks hold our trove of award-winning wines. A private dining table is the perfect place for a romantic rendezvous or discreet business conversation. Our chef will prepare a special tasting menu for Wine Cellar diners. For discreet or romantic dining, The Wine Cellar is an exceptional place. Larger gatherings of up to 30 guests may reserve the Brook Room – an airy, elegant space with a robust fireplace for private meetings, holiday parties and smaller weddings and elopements. We chose the formal dining area. We were seated inside but had a view of the backyard and terrace which they lit up nicely at night. Service was excellent. I had the scallops and my husband had the salmon. Both were delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I usually find dining at the Pitcher Inn to be a special experience, but this time it left something to be desired - bland food for a high price. Can't say the ambiance will bring me back if the food doesn't improve.

This is the only place to eat in the Warren/Waitsfield area. We have been coming here for over 10 years and it never disappoints! My favorite place to dine.

Wonderful food in a cozy setting. The outdoor patio was open and it was a beautiful e with wonderful food and great cocktails!

We had an incredible dinner with outstanding service from the wine sommelier to the dessert. Everything was so flavorful, delicious and well paired. Well worth the experience. Wine was wonderful Service was outstanding!

The menu is seasonal and varies, so I can't recommend a particular dish. However, considering the many times that we have dined there, I have always been surprised and never disappointed

The food is outstanding, however we asked for our steak to be medium rare but it was medium. Jim (our waiter) asked if we would like a new steak but we declined because we didn't want to wait. It still was very good even though it wasn't our preferred temperature. Our waiter Jim was also so attentive. Was there for our anniversary and it was a memorable time. Love the Pitcher Inn!

This place was great from the atmosphere, service and food. Everyone was extremely friendly and descriptive with food. Outside and inside are both beautiful. Highly recommend!!
