Inspired by the best pizza of New York City and Naples, Italy.

In 2005, Annie and Craig Stoll annexed the space next door to their James Beard Award winning Delfina restaurant fulfilling a long time dream of bringing Neapolitan-inspired pizzas to San Francisco. The 600 square foot space was an instant neighborhood hotspot, and Pizzeria Delfina became the ""darling of the San Francisco food scene"" opening a second location in 2008 to popular demand.

In 2014, Annie and Craig expanded into the Peninsula with Pizzeria Delfina in Palo Alto.

This energetic, farmers-to-table restaurant serves up Neapolitan-inspired pizza complemented by a daily-changing roster of seasonal antipasti, piatti (small entrees), beer, wine and more. A family-owned business, Pizzeria Delfina is a neighborhood establishment through and through that continues to bring people together around fresh, handmade, delicious food in a warm, casual atmosphere.

    Wonderful meal. Appetizers and drinks were tasty. Everyone really loved the arancini. Pizzas were amazing as usual. It was very crowded but service still was good.

    Beer is very expensive for what you get. I paid $10 for an Hefeweizen and it wasn’t even a full pint. Pizza Margherita DOP is more expensive than non DOP version, but the buffalo mozzarella tastes worse than the fiordilatte, total opposite of what I expected given my experience. Place can be crowded and quite noisy. Not a good value for the money in my opinion

    We had 8 people in our party for my wife’s birthday. The staff was awesome and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend and I will be going back. My sister in law brought a cake in. They made sure to present it very nice then brought it back to slice it up. We had a great time.

    Outstanding food and service. The pizza is as good as it gets. The meatballs are excellent. Everything was great except I wish the tables weren’t as close together. You sit pretty close to the people on both sides of you.

    Highly recommend! Food was fantastic and our server was awesome. I have severe food allergies and she was extremely helpful making sure my food was safe and there would be no cross contamination. Will definitely be back!

    The Achilles’ Heel for had everything to do with the service. Our waitperson was inexperienced and supposedly being trained, but pretty much was left unsupervised and made many mistakes.

    I love Delfina, it has good food (the best pizza and appetizers), good appetitive, and friendly service. It is my happy place to meet with friends and my family. We ask always to sit on the beautiful patio. They have hitters but I would like warmer because it depends on the spot you are in.
