Under Chef David Lee, PLANTA is dining as it should be- an un-guilty pleasure. Created in 2016, PLANTA is a celebration of delicious and innovative plant-based cuisine served in a beautifully designed space, without pretension and with an overflow of good vibes. PLANTA Bethesda offers signatures like Ahi Watermelon Nigiri and Bang Bang Broccoli while expanding on the plant-powered menu, offering even more in the way of Sushi, Pizza, sustainably-crafted cocktails, and more. PLANTA reimagines and reinvents plant-based dining, providing flavorful (and fun) proof the the power of plants can change the world.

    The host had us waiting until she gave away multiple bags for delivery of people who were not even waiting in line. The appetizers were not properly ordered and were delivered in the middle of the meal A drink was not delivered until the middle of the meal Entrees came out one by one with large gaps of time in between Food was just ok, certainly not worth the price Poor explanation of what was happening. I’ll never eat there again

    The atmosphere was relaxing and pretty. Lots of attention to detail. The wait staff was friendly and efficient and the food was creative and delicious

    The food is incredible but this is the third time I have had horrible service. Forgetting items in the order, taking 20+ minutes to order drinks when sitting down, taking 30 minutes to get the check.

    We have eaten at PLANTA multiple times and have always found it to be superb. We have also taken non-vegans there many times with fabulous results. We ate at the Bethesda location this past weekend with some long-term friends who wanted to try an all vegan restaurant. They could not stop glowing about it. We ordered multiple things off of each part of the menu and shared all of them. Each item was given a five star review which could be expected in my opinion. I really want to take them back for the brunch though because I cannot get that French toast out of my head.

    Every dish and sushi option was beautifully plated. I had the Bao slider and tasted the eggplant rotillini, which was delicious. Our server was extremely helpful in choosing apps and entrees. So, I look forward to going back soon. This is hands down one of my latest favorite restaurants.

    They accepted the reservation although I was rushed from the moment I sat. Also I was given gluten for sure despite I explained I am celiac and dealt with the reactions all weekend . Very overpriced!

    Our server was not responsive. We asked for for an order of nigiri FIRST , and it was brought way after our entree. He was such a quiet guy that I could not understand him at all. In addition, I had the lettuce wraps and the Brussel sprouts were VERY undercooked. It was very disappointing.

    As usual an excellent experience service fantastic and Maki Monday a first for us. They made my granddaughters 24 birthday a memorable experience
