If you are in Zagreb , Pod Zidom Bistro is a must try. The food was superb with a beautiful presentation. A small but very sofisticate menu with plenty of choices. The service was amazing and even though our reservation was at 7:30 PM they were able to accommodate us earlier. The very warm atmosphere made out experience even better . Highly recommend this bistro if you are a food lover.

We were greet nicely by Ian our server. Service was excellent, the ambiance just perfect we can actually can have a conversation. Delicious food and great selection of wines. Highly recommended for special occasions.

Amazing food: fresh, local and unique. Wonderful service- Alen was knowledgeable and a perfect gentleman/host. The wines were delectable and Alen suggested the perfect pairing with our meal. I’d go back in a minute!

We recently dined at Zom Pidom and had an overall wonderful experience. The food was exceptional, and our server, Ian (?), was truly fantastic. He was attentive, professional, and made thoughtful recommendations, including a wine selection that perfectly suited our preferences and budget. Ian’s approach was unassuming yet incredibly skilled, significantly enhancing our evening. However, while the service at our table was outstanding, the initial greeting and welcome left much to be desired. The host, Alan/Allen (?), was notably unpleasant and made no effort to make us feel welcome. Towards the end of the evening, as the restaurant neared closing, his demeanor visibly shifted to exasperation, which was noticeable to guests. At the price point of a dining experience at Zom Pidom, we expected a more polished and customer-focused approach from all staff members. While Ian’s exceptional service and the fantastic food were the highlights of our visit, the lackluster reception and unprofessional attitude from the host were disappointing.

During our visit to Zagreb, we had the pleasure of dining at Pod Zidom Bistro, and it was an exceptional culinary experience. The perfectly seasoned beef tartare was a highlight, showcasing the chef’s mastery in balancing flavors. The beef cheek was another standout dish – tender and delicate, it simply melted in the mouth, leaving a lasting impression. The croquettes were an excellent addition, crisp on the outside and paired beautifully with the accompanying sauces, adding depth and richness to every bite. Overall, an unforgettable meal that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.

We were only in Zagreb for a few hours and came across this gem of a restaurant just off one of the main squares . The food and service was outstanding - I loved the seasonal specials and the artistry with which the food on each plate was displayed . Look forward to a return visit very soon. Great value .
