   Birthday Brunch Celebration with the Bestie! The server was friendly and knowledgeable. My friend commented that she thought the service was a little slow but I was ok. She thought if they were quicker we could have ordered another round of drinks. They didn’t have the ice fruit balls drink on the menu that made them so popular but we picked some others that were delicious. We both loved the Golden Triangle and I loved the Going to the movies 2 part drink! We enjoyed the chicken and waffles and the carbonara was yummy. We went over board and got the smoked pancake. The presentation was really cool. I would like to come for happy hour or dinner sometime!

   We’ve dined at Podmore to celebrate my husband’s birthday a few weeks back and had to return to share the experience with visitors. From the vibe, to the drinks, to the food, to the service we are lucky to have this special gem in Hawaii!

   We have enjoyed our two visits to Podmore, once for drinks and once for brunch. Service has always been good and the room is lovely. We look forward to the next time.

   This was our first experience here, but will definitely go back. We made our reservation late with only seating available. Although getting there early for our reservation, we were seated quickly by a very friendly red-headed server. Alex took care of us at the bar and helped guide us through the cocktail and dinner menus. I enjoy mescal and spice ordered the "4 Tha Hotties". My wife wasn't certain what she wanted as all the drinks sounded delicious, and Alex helped her make a selection. The cocktails were excellent. For food, we started wit the "Devils on Horseback" and "Pork Buns." We only recently learned about Devils on Horseback and these were different from others we tried on a recent trip to Napa. Both the Devils on Horseback and Pork buns were delicious. For the entree, my wife had the scallops which were delicious and seared perfectly. Alex helped me nail down the Fish and Chips, although the Braised beef and chicken pot pie sounded tempting - we will have to return to try them. The meal was filling leaving no room for dessert, which was a disappointment as the dessert menu looked inviting. We will have to return to try more options.

   Celebrating our friends move to mainland/her first time there…it was a perfect place for a going away brunch….excellent service from bth lady servers
