Poeta is nestled within The Frances Modern Inn located on historic 11th street, just minutes from downtown.
Locally created and operated by award winning chefs, this neighborhood establishment welcomes everyone to partake in a meal, drinks, or dessert all day with breakfast, lunch or dinner, and enjoy daily happy hour.

Unbelievable food, service, and ambiance. There were only two of us so go with more people to try more dishes!! Everything was incredible. Service and style of space was very chic.

Great little Italian spot on a lively block. We had the Striped Bass and the Gnocchi and enjoyed both. Service was outstanding.

Good service. A little more detail on the food itself and the portion size for the item, would be helpful. The liver dish was our favorite. Could use more toast points to even out the ratio. The Chicken Milanese was beautiful to look at, the salad topping delicious, the chicken crust and sauce super yummy, but the chicken itself was grayish, stringy and inedible.

What a beautiful spot, with EXCELLENT food, wow. I took my team of 7 there and we ordered all the things, including apps (the grilled cauliflower!!), pastas galore (they also offer GF options), and 3 different desserts - everything was fantastic, you won't be disappointed.

Wow! My friend and I loved every bite of our dinner at Poeta tonight! We started with the mozzarella appetizer, then the endive and pear salad, which we shared...after that came a delicious roasted cauliflower and spaghetti carbonara. Every serving was generous enough for us to split. The meal came to under $100, with three beers between the two of us. Oh, and a delicious slice of olive oil cake for dessert. Completely wonderful service, too. Valet parking was a plus on this cold rainy night.

My dining partner didn’t like her dish — I tried it and the pasta was undercooked (past the point of al dente). My crab ravioli was delicious. The decor is great, but the restaurant became extremely loud as it filled up. Service was really good.
