Ponche Taqueria in Hell's Kitchen serves Mexican classics in an intimate space with a brick-walled interior. Choose from a number of starters at Ponche Taqueria like guacamole, nachos, chips and salsa and quesadillas with different additions. The restaurant has Mexican sandwiches, or tortas, of chicken, shrimp, pulled pork and steak. There are a variety of tacos, burritos and enchiladas with roasted pork, chicken, beef and vegetarian. Full entrees and combination plates are served with rice and beans. Get enchiladas suizas, chilaquiles rojos con carne or carnitas borrachas. You can order a side of fried sweet plantains. For dessert, select homemade flan, tres leches cake, fried plantains with sweetened condensed milk or tiramisu. Ponche Taqueria allows you to bring your own wine or beer for an added fee.
