Situated on the eighth floor of the Port of Leith Distillery, the Bar contains some of the finest and most exciting new wave whiskies from Scotland and around the world.

With stunning views of Edinburgh, Leith and the Firth of Forth, the 200-bottle double-height back bar is intended to invite discovery and enlightenment at the sheer wonder and variety of global whisky alchemy.

Much like the whisky the distillery seeks to create, everything else the bar has to offer is inspired by the provenance of the Forth Valley, and Leith’s rich food and drink heritage.

With a seasonally inspired food menu of local and indigenous ingredients, Head Chef Patrick and his team, combine classic and modern techniques, championing the best of Scotland’s farmers and produce.

We look forward to welcoming you in for a dram.

Our Kitchen closes at 9:30pm Tuesday - Saturday and 7:30pm Sunday - Monday.
Our Bar Snacks menu runs all night.

    We find the thought of hanging out in our whisky distillery to be pretty exciting and we thought others would too. We’ve created a number of spaces within the building that you can hire out for corporate meetings, birthday parties, weddings, private tastings or high-level secret discussions.

    The atmosphere here is fantastic. Great views excellent staff, friendly and professional. Food this time was disappointing. Quality on the whole is good, however the quantity has reduced significantly since our last visits. We left disappointed. We love the Port of Leith Distillery and usually the food is great, just not this time.

    Slow service, no really input/ recommendations made. Allows kids but does not have/ we weren’t offered a kid friendly menu.

    Food was excellent but fine dining festive menu was just that with lovely but small plates. Prices are reasonable especially if you have a G&T which was nice.

    We had a lovely time and the staff were brilliant. The charcuterie board was a little pricey for the quantity served but the Koffmann chips were amazing.

    Really enjoyed our visit here! Really nice touch by giving my partner a birthday card after I’d put on the reservation that it was for a birthday. Will be back again!
