I love the Porterhouse, their steaks are delicious and cooked exactly the way I asked. I have been here many times and they have never disappointed. Every single dish I have tried has been cooked to perfection and very tasty. I love that they use premium quality ingredients. Their customer service is outstanding!!!. Though quite pricey, they are well worth the money.

I’ve been a loyal patron of Porter House for years and have always felt welcomed—until this recent visit, which was meant to be a special birthday dinner. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. It started off well with a friendly and welcoming hostess. The bartender, while adequate, seemed distracted or unable to hear me, even though the bar was not busy. This was only the beginning of a string of disappointing service moments. Once we were seated, the server appeared rushed and inattentive. He dropped the menus and immediately asked for our order, leaving us feeling hurried and unable to settle into the experience. As this was my birthday dinner, I was hoping for a relaxing evening but felt constantly rushed. For example, as soon as our salad plates were cleared, our entrées were on the table. My husband and I chose to share both our appetizer and main course, and the restaurant served these on one oversized plate. At a venue of this caliber, I expected the kitchen to separate the portions before serving, sparing us the awkward task of reaching across the table. Another issue was with my wine service. I was the only one drinking, but the server repeatedly poured more wine before I was ready, despite me asking him to stop. This added to the rushed atmosphere and detracted from the enjoyment of the meal. Finally, we declined dessert, and the server dropped the check in a hurried, almost dismissive manner, reminiscent of a casual diner rather than a fine dining establishment. The food was good, but not extraordinary enough to make up for the poor service. What used to be a favorite place of mine now feels tainted by this experience. While I hope this was just an off night for the staff, I’ll be hesitant to return anytime soon. For the price point, I expected far better treatment.

I would highly recommend this amazing restaurant . They accommodated my request for special date night with my husband . Was seated at a quiet table with a beautiful view of NY. The service along with the food was amazing. We have been going to this restaurant for years and it has kept the charm and fantastic service! The food is always done to perfection. Keep up the great work and we will always come back.

Excellent staff, view and food. There is nothing better than having a wait staff that knows their job. They were friendly and attentive. It was a wonderful dining experience.

What a great experience today. Normally we only have dinner at Porterhouse. The lunch was really nice and very relaxing. Jose M i is an excellent server and made our lunch great. The value was excellent for a FIRST CLASS lunch.
