Posto 31 strives for the harmony among quality-driven food, professional service, nuanced craft cocktails and the comfort of a neighborhood gathering place.

Our Italian-inspired menu features pastas made each day, seasonal vegetables, items to share and variety to please any palate. We have built this house for you, for your taste buds, for your families and for ours.

Please note:
Reservations of 7 or more guests require a credit card to hold the reservation. In the event that you do need to cancel, we ask that it is 24hr notice. Cancelation or a No-Show within the 24hr time frame will result in a $40 per guest charge for everyone that does not dine with us.

Our patio is open only if the weather permits. If you have an outside table reserved and the weather changes - we will do our very best to accommodate your party, but space indoors is not guaranteed.

BYOB is not permitted in any restaurant in La Grange Park, therefore we are unable to accommodate CORKAGE.

The portions were generous except for the risotto with scallops. There could have been more risotto for $44. Everything else was generous. Squid ink pasta with shrimp amazing. Meatballs on a bed of garlic mash wasso delivery and good portions. Mango spicy margarita good balance of spice and flavor. Crab cake was moist and flavorful. I would definitely come again

Great dining experience every time I go to Posto 31. From the cocktails to dessert, and everything in between, it's fantastic. My table had the smoked old fashioned and non-alcoholic margarita and enjoyed both. Then, Sunday Salad and Simple Salad - both were great and the portions are huge. The salads are definitely share'able and I appreciate our server for telling us that before we over-ordered. Then, entrees were the Pasta a la Posto - one made without bacon for the vegetarian at my table. You cannot beat homemade pasta. This was an unforgettable meal.

The Pasta in the lasagna was so mushy it was indistinguishable from mashed potatoes. Not much flavor. A tremendous amount of bland thick cheese on top. Likewise the risotto balls were mostly rice, again with little flavor and only 1/5 balls had any visible cheese. Sauce skimpy Way too much salt. Burger was greasy and that comes from an 18 year old. The place, while very busy is not what it was 3-4 years ago. Current online menu says bread $8 when it was $9 yesterday. Desserts uninspiring.

Took my girlfriend in a date night last night and it was amazing. The food was out of this world and the drinks were made perfectly! Definitely recommend!

Exceptional food and excellent service . Every dish I’ve ordered has been top notch . And I must add Posto 31 has the best meatballs I’ve ever had .

Our server Jimmy was great! Very knowledgeable, professional, and enjoyable. Food was stellar, and the staff made it a point to check in, take coats, give recs, and created an immensely enjoyable experience. Such a suburban gem. Bravo!

Our server was great very attentive and paced our meal which is great because they are really fast at bringing courses out. Drinks are great. My only complaint is the mock tails are almost as expensive as a regular cocktail.

Great night at Posto. Brett the server was excellent. Our 8 o’clock reservation ended up being closer to 830 seating because they were so busy. And yet, the server handled it as if we were the first table he were working with of the night. Elias, Who is managing Seating everyone as a host was also excellent. He was a young guy who was trying to joggle a lot and had a large party that he was trying to see at 8:15 who was also waiting for a table when we were. We went to another nearby restaurant in La Grange Park, but we’re glad we went to Posto because the atmosphere was so wonderful. It felt like a holiday party even though we’re almost into February.
